Chapter 15

When we got there, there where 2 guards. They both stopped me, but let Toshiro go.

Guard-"Who are you? I've never seen you before!" He says angrily.
Toshiro-"Don't worry she's with me." He says as he looks over his shoulder.
Guard-"Yes captain Hitsugaya." He says, and lets me go.

I walk up to Toshiro. We walk in silence for a while.

Fumiko-"Where are we going?" I ask curiously.
Toshiro-"To the head captain's office." He answered coldly.
Fumiko-"Ok."

'Why does he always talk to me so coldly. It's really annoying.'

~Time skip~
~Head captain Yamamoto's office~

Toshiro knocked on the door.

????-"ENTER." A strong voice said.

We entered the room that was on the top floor of the building. It is a very big room, it has a desk and chairs in it. There is a older man sitting at the desk. 'Why does he look so familiar?' I think.

~Flashback~

I am 6 years old. I am looking through an old family photo album. I came a cross a pitcher of an older man that I don't recognize. He is tall, has lots of wrinkles, has a wooden staff, and has a long gray beard.

Fumiko-"Mom who is this man?" I ask.
Mom-"That is your grandfather. He was a very kind, carrying, and brave man."
Fumiko-"Mom why did you say 'was' did something happen to him?" I asked.
Mom-"Yes, he died before you where born." She said sadly.
Fumiko-"I would of like to of met him." I say sadly.
Mom-"I'm sure he would of loved you." She said kindly.

~End of flashback~

I was looking at the man in surprise.

????-"Captain Hitsugaya who is this girl you brought to me?" He asked.
Toshiro-"This is Fumiko. She is a new soul reaper that discovered her powers in the world of the living when she was about to die. Her zanpakuto spirit told her its name before she died. That is how she got her powers. Head captain Yamamoto." He explained.
Yamamoto-"I see, Fumiko why are you looking at me with such surprise?" He questioned.
Fumiko-"Because..... you look just like my grandfather." I explained.
Yamamoto-"Who is your mother?"
Fumiko-"Her name is Rain."

I walk over to his desk and take a set. 'He looks like the same person in the photo that I saw.' I think.

Yamamoto-"Captain Hitsugaya you may go." He said, and Toshiro left.
Yamamoto-"When I was alive I did have a daughter named Rain. Do you have a photo of her?" He asked.

I searched my pockets, and find in the inside pocket of my Shihakusho a pitcher. It was me, my mom, and my dad the day before they died. I showed him the photo. His eyes go wide in surprise.

Fumiko-"You recognize my mom don't you." I ask.

Yamamoto took a deep breath in and said.

Yamamoto-"Yes, that would be my daughter.... That means you are my grand daughter." He said happily.
Fumiko-"I-I can believe this, that you are my grandfather." I said in surprise.
Yamamoto-"Ok on to a different subject. Why have you came here?"
Fumiko-"I have come here to become a better soul reaper and maybe be apart of the 13 court guard squads." I said seriously.
Yamamoto-"Ok you will be going to soul academy for a while. May I ask who trained you when you became a soul reaper?"
Fumiko-"Kisuke Urahara and Ichigo Kurosaki."
Yamamoto-"Hmmm I see."
Fumiko-"I have one request."
Yamamoto-"What is it?" He asked.
Fumiko-"After I am done with the academy I would like to go to the world of the living when I want. If that is ok."
Yamamoto-"Yes that is fine, but only when you are done with the academy."

We talked for a few more hours. Then he showed me where I would be staying. I was staying in his squads barracks.
