Bleach(How I became a soul reaper)

Chapter 22

Fumiko POV

I opened my eyes slowly. When my eyes are open I see that I'm in a white room. It seems that I'm in a the 4th division. I look around the room, I am all alone. I tried to sit up on the bed, but pain shot through my chest. That's when I remember what happened. I was attacked by the hollow, and saved Sora. I heard a knock on the door. Captain Unohana came into the room she looks happy that I'm awake.

Unohana-"Well look at you. Your awake. That's good, and how are you feeling today?"She asked kindly.
Fumiko-"A little swore, but fine." I said painfully.
Unohana-"That's good. Let me take a look at your wound."
Fumiko-"Alright."

She helped me sit up. She unwrapped the bandage that I had on. Then she inspected my wound.

Unohana-"Hmm????"
Fumiko-"Wh-What is it? And ow that hurts!" I yelled out in pain.
Unohana-"Oh sorry dear. Your wound is healing quite nicely. You can go to you squad today, but go easy." She said seriously.
Fumiko-"Ok thanks." I said as she re-bandaged me.

I get up, and put my zanpakuto on my back. Then I leave the 4th division.

~Time skip~
~In front of the 9th squads barracks~

When I got to the 9th squads barracks every one is busy doing there work. I walked to my office to do some work I'm sure there's a lot to do. I reach my office, and open the door. I see Shuhei inside working on paperwork. I walk in, and closed the door behind me. Shuhei looks up from his work. He looks kinda surprise that I'm her.

Shuhei-"Fumiko! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in bed?" He asked concerned.
Fumiko-"No, captain Unohana said if I go easy I should be ok."
Shuhei-"Ok, just don't over do it." He said kindly.
Fumiko-"Ok I won't." I said as I sat down at my desk, and started to do some work.

It's been a few hours since I started to do my huge stack of paperwork. I have done about half of my work. I started to fall asleep, but I wasn't fully asleep.

Shuhei-"Fumiko are you ok?" He asked concerned.
Fumiko-"Yeah I'm fine. Don't worry." I said sleepy.
Shuhei-"I think you should go rest. You look really tired." He said sweetly.
Fumiko-"No I'm alright. I should finish this paperwork." I said trying to stay awake.
Shuhei-"Ok." He said, and we continued our work.

About 10 minutes later I fell asleep at my desk.

Shuhei POV

After a little while I finished my work. I look to see if captain Fumiko is finished or not. I see her at her desk asleep. I get up and go over to Fumiko, and pick her up. I put her on one of the couch, and cover her with a blanket. 'She looks so peaceful when she sleeps.' I think. I go and finish her work for her. Then I go deliver the reports to head captain Yamamoto.

~Time skip~
~Head captain Yamamoto's office~

I knocked on the door.

Yamamoto-"Enter."

I opened the door, closed it behind me, and bowed to the head captain.

Shuhei-"I have brought you some reports."
Yamamoto-"Ok set them on my desk.... How is Fumiko doing as captain?" He questioned as I set the reports on his desk.
Shuhei-"She is a great captain. But on the mission we where on she got injured badly." I explained.
Yamamoto-"What happened?" He asked.
Shuhei-"The hollow that she was fighting was to strong for her and Sora to handle. The hollow through Sora to the ground, and punched Fumiko through some trees. The hollow was about to punch Sora that is still on the ground. Before the hollow could punch Sora, Fumiko shielded Sora with her body. The hollow punched a whole through her chest." I explained.
Yamamoto-"I see. Is she doing better now?" He questioned.
Shuhei-"Yes."

I tolled him every thing that I new about what happened on the mission. He seems concerned about Fumiko. I don't know why thou.
