**Hi this is MusicChild13 or Alexander Blue or whatever variation you call me. I'm starting this off by saying this isn't a typical love story. There will be tons of tears and feels. There will be moments where you love me or hate me, who knows. I do not own any rights to this song at all. This song is from The Hunger Games Trilogy. I have altered it a bit to fit this story but it is still originally made by Suzanne Collins.**

Are you, are you,
coming to the tree?
They've strung up five boys,
Accused of being freaks.
Strange things did happen here,
No stranger would it be,
If we met at midnight,
In the hanging tree.

Are you, are you,
Coming to the tree?
Where dead kids called out,
For their loves to flee.
Strange things did happen here,
No stranger would it be,
If we met at midnight,
In the hanging tree.

Are you, are you,
Coming to the tree?
Where a boy yelled to run,
So they'd both be free.
Strange things did happen here,
No stranger would it be,
If we met at midnight,
In the hanging tree.

Are you, are you,
Coming to the tree?
Wear a necklace of rope,
Side by side with thee.
Strange things did happen here,
No stranger would it be,
If we met at midnight,
In the hanging tree.

Are you, are you,
Coming to the tree.
The ghosts of those boys,
Are laughing out in glee.
Strange things did happen here,
No stranger would it be,
If we met at midnight,
In the hanging tree.

The first time my world changed was when it became a global law. I watched the tele in what could only be pure horror, my mouth refusing to close as the words of the news broadcaster repeated over and over like a song with annoying lyrics but a catchy tune.

"A global law has been issued at this time. All gays, bisexual, or transgender people must be eradicated. It is now legal for anyone who falls under these categories or expected of being under these categories to be terminated by any means necessary. The world wide cleansing shall commence now." He said.

Those were the words that led me to believe that I would no longer find happiness. Those were the words that destroyed all hope for me. Those were the words that led us together. Those were the words that changed our lives forever.
