"I think someone forgot her old friend." Riya was hearing this voice after years. But something has changed. Actually, everything has changed. She has changed the person who owns this voice has changed.
Turning around she found Raj leaning against the kitchen doorway. Riya checked him out shamelessly from head to toe and back.
Raj was surprised by this. The girl who used blush because of every small thing is checking him out without even blinking.
"Main toh kisi ko nahi bhooli lekin shayad aap bhool gye, mere liye chocolates lana." Nah! This is still that little girl. Trying to lure him for chocolates.

Flashback...Raj was packing his bags. He was going to Delhi for his studies. No one knew when will he return and everyone was extremely sad. But there was one little girl who was betrayed. No one told her that her Rj is going.
A 9 year old Riya came running into his room and stood in front of him with an angry face and hands on her waist.
"Why didn't you told me that you are leaving?" Riya wanted answers. She was an introvert back then and didn't had many friends. But cherished the few who were along with her.
"Because I didn't wanted to hurt my little girl." Raj said pinching her nose. He found her cute with that small pout on her lips and pink cheeks because of the anger.
"But now I'm hurt. Who will give me piggyback rides if you are not here. Who will buy me chocolates and who will help me in homework?" Riya asked, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. Back then Ujjwal had an major operation because of which he was restrained from lifting weight.
Raj sat on the bed and pulled her closer to stand in between his legs. Cupping her cheeks with both hands he said softly.
"Hey, I'll give you piggyback rides after I come back and I'll bring lots of chocolates for you from Delhi. And don't worry, I'll ask Rohan to take care of you in my absence. Okay?" He asked looking in her eyes.Riya nodded her head still pouting and held her little finger out. "Promise?"
Smiling at his little girl Raj entertwined their fingers.
"Promise."
...End of flashback
~~~
Once again Raj smiled at his little girl who is not so little now. They both took long strides towards each other and next moment they were in each others embrace.
"I missed you." They said at the same time and chuckled. Raj had his Babygirl in his arms after years. And Riya was glad to meet her Rj.
They pulled apart and Raj held Riya from her shoulders looking at her. "Kitni bari ho gayi hai."
"Ye mat samajhna ki bare hone ki wajah se main apko chhor dungi. Piggyback rides toh main le k rahungi." Riya said looking at him with her small pout.
"Toh chale? Abhi de deta hu tumhe piggyback ride aur tumhare chocolates bhi." Hearing about this Riya's eyes sparkled with excitement and she nodded her head enthusiastically.
But then looked at the tray of badaam doodh. Raj knew her corner and looked around to find a girl walking through the kitchen doorway. That girl was Ruchi.
"Um..Hey..excuse me." He called her over and Ruchi knew in an instant that this is Raj. She had a childhood crush on him and tried to gain his attention every time but he was focused on her sister, Riya.
Ruchi was happy that Raj wanted to talk with her but her delightful mood changed in an instant when she saw Riya standing near him.
"Can you please take this tray outside?" Raj asked her polity. He didn't knew the girl but guessing that she is still here he thought she must be some close relative or family friend.
Giving them a fake smile Ruchi took the tray of milk outside. Raj held Riya's hand and took her near the refrigerator and opening it they found Chocominis and Kit Kat. Riya's favorite.
Squealing like a child Riya took the chocolates and jumped in happiness and wrapped her arms around his neck from behind.
"Let's go for piggyback ride."
