Chapter 7

"Oh just wait until I fall in love." Riya says with a goofy smile.

She had always imagined falling in love. She thinks that it's hard for her to find a man. Because she is the type who loves to fantasize. She is the type who lives in imagination. She is the type who wants to dream.

But it's real life, not some cliche romantic novel. But still she believes that somewhere, someone is waiting for her.

Her train of thoughts break when Raj shakes her shoulder. "You okay?" But before she could answer Prachi chides in. "I guess she is thinking about her future love."

Riya rolls her eyes. "And I guess we should focus on Bhai."

Pradeep asks his son to call Rina and arrange a dinner with her family at her house or at their's.

Everyone congratulated Ujjwal and the Mishra family bid their farewell.

That night sleep didn't came to Raj. It was already 1 A.M. Everyone was already asleep but here he was, still tossing and turning on his bed. Then his tongue craved for the taste of chai.

After years of living away from his family he was quite good with kitchen. And chai was his specialty.

After making himself a cup of tea he went to his room and thought of spending some time on his balcony underneath the vast star filled sky.

Sliding open the glass doors of his balcony he was welcomed by the cool night breeze. He was looking around sipping on his tea when his eyes fell on the serene beauty who was on the balcony across from his.

The house across from his was of Mishra family's. And the girl who looked so peaceful at the moment was someone whom he knew for years yet a stranger to him.

The little girl he had left was like a waterfall. Who never knew how to stay calm. But the girl he is watching now is like a river, flowing yet still.

She was sitting there on an armchair with a book in her hand. Her moonlit face looked so at peace concentrating on that piece of paper. Her fingers playing with the strands of hair who were trying to fly along with the winds. She was biting those rose pink lips, trying hard to control her smile. Her eyes were giggling with a mischievous glint.

Raj couldn't help himself from staring at Riya. Unlike the movies where the male lead feels his heartbeats racing, he felt his heartbeats soothing.

That night the stars whispered the secret of love to the moon who was blushing hard trying to hide behind the clouds.

That night wind caressed the flowers stealing their smell and trying to lull them into blissful sleep.

That night Raj felt his eyes drinking the simplicity of this angel in front of him and his heart worshipping her purity with each ounce of love he has.
