Days passed by and everyone's life was a bit chaotic. The week was spent on getting everything prepared for Ujjwal and Rina's Khaan paan ki rasam. But in between this chaotic daily life two souls had formed a peaceful routine.
As promised Raj had started to drop Riya for office and back home. During the ride though they both stayed silent but the night breeze was witnessing the soft whispers of their hearts.
Riya was getting lost in Raj's cologne and Raj was finding solace in her warm embrace.
Raj was getting used to having coffee early morning on their way to work and Riya had started to have a cup of tea while coming back.
Unknown to them, their hearts met in search of peace and they were getting used to each other.
"Arre kahan mar gaye sb k sb?" A shrill voice pierced through the serene atmosphere of Mishra house. Oops, did I forgot to warn you all about the walking and talking storm. Yeah, I think I did.
Well then let me introduce to you all, Leela Devi. Loving mother of Pradeep and Sandeep. Strict mother-in-law to Sudha and Puja. Doting grandmother for Ujjwal but a nightmare for her granddaughters.
No,no. She isn't that T.V. vamp, just a lady who is tangled in the illogical rules of this society. For whom a women's sole purpose of life is taking care of her family. In her dictionary self love is a prohibited thing. According to her men shouldn't enter kitchen and women should stay within limits. Limits which are set by some backward thinkers.
But it isn't her fault because she was taught this her entire life. Her mother taught her how to be a good daughter, daughter-in-law, wife, mother and everything but never told her to be herself.
She was never asked about her thoughts and her opinions were always ignored. She was never given the control so when the opportunity came she grasped it with all her might.
Now she was trying to control the ladies of her family. Trying to bend them according to her will. Willing to put them in a shell and determined on turning them into perfect ladies.
But I guess she didn't knew that the ladies of her family had their life under control. They weren't some steel rod but a flowing stream. They had broke out from all the shell and were determined on writing their own definition of perfection.
