"Vijay uncle." Riya was extremely happy to see her favorite uncle.
Vijay Majumdar and his family were neighbors of the Mishra family many years ago when Riya was a small child. They used to live in same building on rent and were family friends since then. Years passed by but they stayed close as ever.
"Good Morning bete." Vijay greeted Riya with a smile which showed his love for this child. He considered Riya as his daughter and Riya loved him as well.
"Good Morning uncle. Please come in." Holding Vijay's hand Riya ushered him inside towards the dining area.
"Papa, Vijay uncle aye hai." Riya informed her father who was equally happy to see his friend in the morning.
"Aho bhagya hamare jo apke darshan hue." Pradeep teased his dear friend.
"Haan bhai, aaj yahan ka rasta kaise yaad aa gya?" Sandeep joined his brother in the playful teasing.
"Wohi toh, uncle aap yahan baithiye aur nashta kariye." Riya made him sit on her seat.
"Arre nahi, nahi. Main nashta nahi karunga." Vijay declined.
"Then have coffee with me." Riya was adamant on behaving like a proper host today but was again turned down by her uncle.
"Nahi beta. I had my morning tea before coming here."
"Toh ab mere saath ek cup coffee pi lijiye." Riya pouted cutely trying to convince her pyaare uncle to give her company.
"Koi baat nahi Riya. Bhai saheb nahi pina chahte toh zabardasti mat karo." Sudha pacified her daughter.
"Waise bhi sab log teri tarah caffeine pe nahi jeete." Ujjwal taunted her and gained a smack on his arm from his mother.
"Aap log nahi smjhoge. Coffee ek nasha hai. Ek baar chadh jaye toh utarta nahi." Riya explained her therapy to all. And everyone laughed at her.
"Bhai saheb ye log toh bas aise hi hai. Aap bataiye kya lenge." Puja asked Vijay.
"Arre nahi nahi bhabi ji kuch nahi lunga."
"Lagta hai Riya didi k addiction se darr gye." Prachi said and the whole table laughed.
"Arre nahi bhai. Koi hamari beti ko kuch nahi kahega. Balki hamare ghar mein bhi aisi addiction wala ek hai." Vijay defended his daughter and stroked her hairs lovingly.
"Tere ghar pe nasha karna kisne shuru kar diya?" Sandeep asked his friend.
"Raj." Vijay replied smiling warmly at the mention of his son.
Raj Majumdar is the older son of Vijay who at the age of 14 went to Delhi for his studies.
"Raj? Kab ayega wo? Saalo ho gaye usse dekhe." Sighed Ujjwal remembering his childhood friend. Raj is one year younger than Ujjwal and they used to share a great bond.
"Aa gya hai wo Delhi se. Ab uski padhai puri ho gayi hai toh yahi rahega." Hearing this news the Mishra family was really happy.
"Toh phir bhai kab mila rahe ho hamare bache se?" Pradeep asked him.
"Arre iss hi liye toh aya hu. Aap sb k ghar k samne wala ghar liya tha na, wo ab taiyar ho gya hai. Aaj shaam grihpravesh hai. Aap sab aiyega. Wohi Raj se bhi milna ho jayega." Vijay explained everything.
"Waah bhai ye toh bahut achhi khabar sunayi tune." Pradeep patted Vijay's shoulder happily.
"Haan, ek baar phir hum dono parivaar parosi ban gaye." Sandeep added merrily.
