Aaron's POV
John and Sam both growled back signaling that they wouldn't have any of it but frankly I didn't care.
Knowing that I needed to get out or face a fight I turned on my heel and left for some fresh air.

Aeriella's POV
I watched his retreating back walk through the door knowing that I'd won the argument but not feeling very victorious since it was a default defeat when he walked out. What was with that growling between them?
Turning my gaze toward his brother and then Beta I quirked an eyebrow.
His brother, Sam, chuckled, "He's getting bold."
John shrugged, "Nah he's always done that."
"Oh?"
"Yeah, you're normally too wrapped up in Daniella to notice."
Sam grunted and checked his phone for the forth time since walking in. I sighed and went to sit down but mom snapped and made eye contact with me then pointed to the door.
Rolling my eyes I stood up straight once more, "And when I find him just how am I supposed to calm him down?"
John looked up from his place at the table with a half grin, "That's the easy part. Remember, wolves are very touchy."
I frowned at him but then remembered the feeling of Aaron's arms around me and his breath on my cheek. Instantly a fluttery feeling accompanied by a wave of heat washed over me. Resisting the urge to fan myself I made my way toward the door and looked to Sam, "Any idea where he might run off to?"
Sam shrugged, "Don't know, but if he wants to be found you'll find him. I'll never tell him this and if he asks I'll deny it till the day I die, but he's the best tracker I've ever met and if he doesn't want to be found there ain't no way in hell you're gonna find him."
Growling a bit at the notion that he would be avoiding me purposefully I left the room and made my way outside. Many different dragons greeted me with the curt, "Hi Chief." or, "Hey, what's up Chief?" but I mainly ignored them as I tried to lock onto his scent. Finding it I followed the damn intoxicating scent to one of the small streams that ran through this town and lost it. Fuck.
Sniffing around I still couldn't find it and he didn't leave any tracks, oh this man's good. Guessing which direction he went I went that way and tried to find him but couldn't. What the hell?
Letting out a frustrated growl I kept looking ignoring the strange looks people had been giving me for some time and glared at them, "What?"
One of the teens giggled, "Chief he's been right behind you the whole time."
What?
Whipping around I saw him leaning against a tree with that stupidly adorably handsomely sexy grin on his face. Oh he's done it now.
Lunging at him I was about to get him when he sidestepped and threw me over his shoulder. Kicking I managed to offset his balance so we were both on the ground. Just as I was about to put him in a headlock he pinned me with one hand and sat on my thighs so I couldn't get up. Wiggling I growled and he laughed, "Well little missy you're not getting up till you admit I was right and smile."
I narrowed my eyes at him, "I can sit here all day."
He shrugged and grinned evilly, "Or public embarrassment."
I glared at him, "You wouldn't."
By now most of the people outside had gathered and I was about to make another smartass remark when he began to tickle my sides, my one weakness. Trying to hold it in I wiggled but then he intensified it an I couldn't stop the hysteric giggles that came from his dammed tickling hand, "Admit it Aeriella."
"N-never!"
He turned it up another notch and I could feel tears forming in my eyes and saw the blurred outlines of everyone gathering once more. Knowing I couldn't last much longer I choked out, "Y-you're.... Right... I was.... A dumbass... So stop... Tickling me."
