Aeriella's POV

Nodding I walked with her towards the other couch in the room and helped her sit down. I'm not going to admit it out loud, but the way she waddled was cute on her and made me never want to get pregnant. Nope, not in this lifetime. I don't have time to be helpless and unable to protect myself. Besides, I just couldn't bring myself not to shudder at the thought of being all big and round. The image was just too non appealing.

Looking over at her I was slightly startled by her bright eyes and wide grin as she leaned closer towards my face. Instinctively leaning back, I watched her with a confused frown ready to jump up and fight if need be, not that she could pose much of a threat at this point. Instead of making a move she giggled, "Your eyes are gorgeous and I love your hair... can I touch it? I just want to touch it. It looks so soft."

Letting out the breath I'd been holding I chuckled, "Sure, though it might not be that soft. I don't obsessively take care of it like one of my younger sisters does."

She wasted no time putting her hands in my hair and running her fingers through it, "Oh it is soft! I just knew it would be, and honey there's nothing wrong with going natural. I mean putting too much crap in it will make it coarse and all seaweed like feeling stuff... can I do your hair?"

Blinking surprised I nodded unsure and looked over to Aaron helplessly. He just shrugged with that stupidly handsome grin, "Looks like she's struck again. No one can stand up to Mimi's mommy treatment. Not even the Alpha."

He gave a pointed look at his brother who was watching us anxiously as if anticipating that I'd make some move to harm her. Of course I wouldn't, I can barely decipher how to handle this estrogen onslaught. She kept talking and I couldn't process what she was saying while she spoke so I just nodded and inserted an "uh huh" and "yeah" whenever I felt necessary which seemed to be keeping her happy. Eventually she began clapping with a gigantic grin on her face. Confused I looked to Aaron who wore that stupidly sexy lopsided one fanged grin of his. He looked almost happy... no, victorious? Maybe... I don't know exactly, but he wore it like he was proud of discovering something.

Shaking my head I stood up, "Sorry, but I just need some air for a minute... I'm not used to this hot climate..."

She nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah, of course. I know I need air every once and a while and it really does you good, especially the fresh stuff," she winked then gasped as if suddenly remembering something shocking, "oh but I guess this wouldn't be anything compared to what you're used to breathing. Oh dear me, I should be a little more composed... but you know how it goes, pregnancy hormones." She bonked herself on the head with an expression just reading "duh" then grinned, "Oh but I guess you wouldn't know quite yet, but you will soon enough since you plan on having a big family."

Blinking surprised I frowned, "When did I say that?"

"Just now, you said uh huh when I asked you if you wanted a big family."

Running a hand over my face I groaned, so that's what he's so happy about. Well I gotta break it to him sooner or later that it was a lie but... looking over at the doe eyed girl I couldn't bring myself to crush all of her excitement over nothing... Well Aaron already knows my viewpoint so I might as well just leave her be for now... how would dragons and wolves even mix well?

Sighing I looked up from my hand and glimpsed a passing bird and a pine tree vaguely casting a shadow resembling a dragon's.... dragons! Snapping my gaze to Sam I looked him in the eye catching his attention, "Are there any dragon tribes in the area? I need to inform them that I'm here or else they might attack this village."

He frowned confused then it seemed to click that his "honey" might be in danger and he stood up protectively, "Yes, I'll go get the list of them... If they so much as even think about attacking this household..."
