The first thing she saw was a darkness.

Now, waking up in the dark was not new but something about this felt different. Salvo moved about the small room touching each and every object and trying to make out where she was. Posters, crayons, school bags - must be a child's room. That was when she noticed an indistinct lump on the bed in the middle of the room.

Before she could inspect further the door opened with a bang as Salvo tried to hide herself from the intruder. She couldn't compromise her location.

Under the minimal light from the hallways, Salvo could make out a tall girl with pale skin and an excited smile on her face.

Where the hell was she?

The girl jumped on the unmoving lump on the bed causing the other person to let out a rather loud yell of , "GEORGIE!"

Goddamn, for a little girl, the kid sure did seem to have an excessively loud voice.

"Hey sissy. Guess what-", the taller girl ignored her.

"MAMA GEORGIE IS ANNOYING ME-"

"Oi oi - keep your mouth shut. I don't want mama on my ass this early in the morning", the girl - who Salvo assumed was the older sister between the duo whispered harshly with a hidden hint of panic in her wide eyes.

"You said a no no word. I'll tell mama", the kid taunted wagging her finger.

"Baby, Rhee - you wouldn't do that to your favourite older sister right?" - and Salvo was definitely in love with the kid.

"I will", the smaller girl nodded sagely.

"Come on Rhea. I'll take you to have ice cream tomorrow. Please don't tell mama?", she begged. Salvo snorted.

"And chocolate. I want chocolates. Lots of them", the kid bargained.

"You know papa and mama said chocolates will rot your teeth"

"Chocolate", she insisted firmly with a glare directed at her sister.

"Fine, fine you little devil. I'll get you chocolate", 'Georgie' muttered exasperatedly.

"Now let me sleep", she demanded as her small hands tried to pull the heavy covers onto her body.

"Nuh-uh. Mama sent me to wake you up", Georgie seemed to enjoy her newfound upper hand in the conversation, "You have school baby."

"I'm not a BABY", the kid yelled with a pout which to be honest made her look like a baby.

But Salvo was still heavily confused about what she was watching.

The lights suddenly flickered in the cozy room as it turned brighter and the people seemed to change right in front of her eyes. As someone who liked to be aware of each and every detail about her surroundings it was safe to say the heartless weapon of HYDRA was freaking out. There seemed to be brighter lights and streamers laid about the room as a family of four sat around the table chatting heartily.

Wait, she knew that face- wasn't that the older sister she had just seen? But she looked - older if possible. The little girl was now a young woman clinging to the man she assumed was her father's neck as they laughed loudly at some kind of joke they had cracked. The scene was heartwarming.
