I stared out the window, still lost in thought. My mind was reeling with thoughts of Seth. Was he messing with me or something? That seemed more like something Kason would do. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

I felt someone nudge my arm, "Are you okay? You've barely talked since you got back and your emotions are weird right now. I can't even distinguish them." Kason wore a look of what I think was his version of concern.

I huffed, "Did I mention how creepy it is that you can read my emotions?"

His concern faded and his usual unreadable expression was back, "Did I mention how creepy it is that you can read minds?"

"It's not like you let me read yours anyway," I glared at him.

"There's nothing to read," he raised is eyebrows as he spoke.

I scoffed, "You've got that right."

He frowned as he understood my insult. "I guess I walked right into that one, huh?" he observed.

I gave him a triumphant smirk in reply. I turned at the sound of a new voice coming from the front, "I'm bored!" I heard Erin whine. She was spread out on the couch with her feet resting on Mal's lap. "We've been riding for what? Two hours? We still have a long way to go and there's nothing to do."

Kason crossed his arms, "What do you suggest we do? Like you said, we're limited on entertainment options."

"Let's play truth or dare!" she squealed.

I quirked an eyebrow in confusion, "Truth or dare?"

She nodded hastily, "It's a game that normal teens play, you know, in the real world."

Kason scoffed, "Well, in case you haven't noticed, we didn't exactly grow up in the real world. So please, elaborate." He sounded agitated. I didn't know why.

She huffed, "The rules are simple. I used to play with my sister all the time." My heart caught at the mention of Ellie. I still hadn't told her. I couldn't now, though. Not in front of everybody. "We all take turns. You'll be asked truth or dare, and you have to choose one. If you choose truth, you have to answer anything asked of you truthfully. If you pick dare," she smiled evilly, "you have to do whatever that person dares you to do."

I felt uneasy about it. I wasn't sure I was up to giving anything away, and I'd hate to think of what malicious dares these people had up their sleeves...mainly Kason.

Kason, on the other hand, was all for it. "Sounds fun," he said with an evil grin playing on his lips, "Let's play."

"Count me in," Mal piped up.

"And us," Nadia spoke up for Seth as well. Since when is there an us with those two?

Everyone was waiting on me. I sighed, "Fine I guess I'll play too."

We all gathered in the little living area. Seth took one of the single chairs and Nadia took the other, leaving Kason, me, Erin, and Mal on the couch. They were lucky that stupid couch was big enough for all of us.

Erin went first, "Aislin," she said turning to me with a malevolent grin, "Truth or dare?"

I gulped. I thought she was supposed to be the sweet one of the group, but she looked pure evil. She was definitely in her element. "Truth..." I picked, not wanting to see whatever dare she had in store for me.

"Hmm," she squinted her eyes at me, obviously wishing I'd have picked dare. A mischievous glint showed in her eyes as she thought of her question, "Aislin...have you ever kissed anyone?"
