it's been a few weeks since i had moved in. i feel like i found a home that is actually caring. one that i feel safe in, i know they are there for me if i ever need something. this is all i ever wanted. to have a family of those who actually love me.
the other month i felt there was no reason to be here, i put an act on, managing my mind to think that i was okay then but i wasn't. i realize that now. i truly feel like i have a reason now, before everyday faded together in a cycle of self hatred and the constant reminder that "i wasn't good enough" but i made it. ofc that doesn't mean the feeling of pain will never be back but now i have the support i desperately needed before.

i had already gotten up an hour and a half ago since i could t fall back to sleep once i woke up. even tho mentally i wanted to stay in bed so badly i knew it was best to just get ready. i had taken my shower already to freshen up and so it would wake my mind. i put a silk robe on and started my makeup and soon finished.

i walk out into my bedroom after being in the steam from the hot water. i look over and see nessa laying in my bed scrolling through her phone.
bailey: nessa? nessa: bailey ! sorry i didn't ask to come over but there's a party tonight at the hype house and i really think you should go. bailey: ou fun, no. nessa: what? why not? bailey: i just don't feel like being around a lot of people right now. nessa: baileyyyyyy pleaseeee ! bailey: oh my. fine. nessa: thank god.
