Bernard found himself in a very dark place that felt like some sort of void, with a strange figure, sitting in front of him.
[Seda: "Have you figured it out yet?"]
Bernard: "Figured what out?"
[Seda: "As the leaves fall and the flowers die, none of you grow any older. Same as before. Same as always. Never getting old. Stuck in the same age, forevermore."]
Bernard: "I'm confused."
[Seda: "Then perhaps you will stay in confusion until the very end. Maybe even beyond it."]
Bernard: "I don't understand."
[Seda: "Soon, you will wake up as somebody else. It could happen to anyone really. After all, how does one know they're the same person they woke up as yesterday, and not entirely somebody else?"]
Bernard: "You're freaking me out."
