Bernard: "so after he ran away from home in his twenties, he wandered the country for more than ten years, killing random people every time he had a chance to. Then, at the age of thirty one, he had an encounter with Matt, who was about twenty five at that time. Having liked his way of thinking, Tøny offered him to form an alliance. Matt, who absolutely loved violence ever since childhood, immediately agreed and the crew began forming. After years of hit and runs, Matt thought they should go bigger, and Tøny agreed. They knew to be able to cause violence on that huge of a scale, they needed someone with smarts on their side. Someone who could wipe off their traces, and have their backs from the authorities. So they made their way to an underground hacker convention where they met a girl in her twenties named Angela, who got charmed by Matt's... whatever he has that makes him charming, and by the idea of being a part of massive terrorist attacks. So she decided to leave her lonely life in her small apartment behind, and ride with the crew. Later on, Tøny encountered an old classmate of his, named Gerald in a bar. Tøny remembered him as a soft brained moron that he still was, and brainwashed him into the crew. Gerald, having lost all hope for life from the grief of her mother's death, didn't take long to give in to his violent desires, and join the crew. A couple more years passed and they encountered Jack, who was a fan of the crew's work, not knowing who they actually were, and what the symbols actually meant. Jack thought they only killed terrible people and that the symbol represented repentance. The crew liked his enthusiasm towards violence and figured they could use another member. However, when Jack realised what the crew's true intentions were, having gotten scared for his life, he decided to act it out and go along with it all until years later, he couldn't handle his guilt for having killed so many innocent people anymore, and finally confronted the crew about it, causing the crew to decide that he was a filthy betrayer, and that he deserved to be punished. Years passed and Dan, Jack's cousin, who was very close to him and wished to take revenge for his death, confronted the crew under the nickname of Danny and convinced them that he had gone through military training which made him very useful to them, and that he had a massive thirst for blood. Which wasn't far from the truth. He also made up a Støry of having killed all his grandparents to convince the crew furthermore. When they accepted Danny as one of their own, he started planning out on how to take revenge for years until he realised that he couldn't go through with his plans anymore, due to the fact that he had grown quite attached to both extreme violence and his partners. Until he started getting bored of the violence and... I guess I'm literally spoiling everything huh? My bad. Anyways, that was a summary of my story. Wanna read?"
Max: "Bernard, I've already read the whole thing."
Bernard: "You did?! But when did you—
Max: "Right after you finished it and went to Herald's, I saw you put it under your bed and so I picked it up, and started reading."
Bernard: "Wow, you couldn't even wait for me to tell you all about it first. Well, what'd ya think? Did ya like it? Was the plot any good? Was it thrilling enough? Was it too much? Tell me, tell me!"
Max: "I think that Tøny, despite having been the angry psychopath that he was, loved his best pals so much that he couldn't live without 'em. I swear he sounds very familiar to how a younger brother I know likes to portray himself. Just can't put my finger on who though. Do you know who I'm talking about?"
Bernard: "You know me too well."
Max: "Also, poor Herald. Is that really how you see him?"
Bernard: "Well he didn't even realise it when he read the book. In fact he was super happy I mentioned him at the end. Does that answer your question?"
Max: "Well, he has always been a bit of a douche..."
The brothers both chuckled.
