Of course, as soon as Casi laid her head on her pillow, she instantly couldn't sleep. She knew she needed to sleep. Cassi looked at her clock, it read, "11:43."
"Really.." Cassi thought. She knew it was going to be a long night. After tossing and turning for hours, she finally dozed into slumber. She woke up 4 hours later, unable to fall asleep again she got up and started her morning routine.
It was 5:42 A.M., Casi heard a loud and excited knock on her door. She rushed downstairs and opened it, exempting it to be her mother coming home from a night at the bar. To her surprise it was the girl she had met the day before, Anna.
"What are you doing here? It's like 11:30." I said, in shock.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." Anna replied in a huff. She was wet, it'd been raining for a couple hours. I looked around outside and go my surprise, there was no car. Did she walk here?
"What-t.. Why would you come here in the middle of the night for that?" I questioned.
"I just felt the need to see you." She said, bluntly.
After a short conversation with Anna, she left. The next day, I didn't see her at school.
