Chapter 13

Tara's POV: As Thanksgiving break approaches I get excited for a break from college. Me, Leo, Alex, Lila, and Alexa are spending Thanksgiving together here, which is fine with my mom because we stopped celebrating it after my dad passed. The first day of break I caught up on sleep and it felt amazing.
Thanksgiving:
Me and the girls get ready and head over to Leo and Alex's place to spend the night. Alexa told us that she's going to stay with Cody for the weekend. I'm so glad she's happy, they're adorable together. Anyways, when we got there, me and Lila started helping Alex cook dinner. If I'm being honest turkey and ham isn't my thing, so I'll be tearing up the cheesecake, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. While I'm making the cheesecake, Leo came over to bug the piss out of me. "Heyyyy Tara" he said dragging out his words because he knows it pisses me off. "What?" I said. "Nothin just wanted to see what you were doing." "Well I'm making cheesecake, you can either help me or go away I'm trying to concentrate." "Ugh fine" he said as he turned and walked away. I couldn't help but laugh at him because he acts like a child. When we finish up making dinner, everybody sits down to eat. The only sound you could hear was the sound of forks hitting plates. That's how you know the food is good. After dinner, Alexa hugged me and Lila goodbye and she left with Cody. "Im so full". Everybody said at the same time making the group giggle. "Y'all wanna watch a movie?" Lila asked. Everybody nodded their heads and we all went to the couch. When I plopped my fatass down on the couch, I felt my eyes getting heavy. Ahhh yes a glorious food coma is just what I need right now. So, I fell asleep on the couch. When I woke up it was completely dark and Leo was laying on my lap. I checked the time on my phone and it read 5:00 in the morning. Damn I slept for 10 hours. Since I didn't want to disturb Leo, I just sat and played in my phone until he woke up. At about 8:00 Leo stirred awake. When he woke he looked at me and smiled. "Good morning baby." he said in his raspy morning voice. "Morning" I said as I ran my fingers though his golden brown hair. Eventually, we get up to brush our teeth and head to his room. "Is it okay if I take a shower?" I asked. "Of course. Do you need to borrow some jammies?" He asked. "As a matter of fact I would like some fresh and clean jammies." We giggled and I made my way to Leo's bathroom to shower. As soon as the warm water hit me, my shoulders relaxed and my head tilted back letting the water hit me. I heard the door creek open and I looked around. All of the sudden the shower curtain opened and Leo stepped in. "Leo! You scared the shit out of me you mcasshole." "Sorry" he giggled. "What are you doing in here?" I asked him. "Uhhh taking a shower." He said in a duh tone. I rolled my eyes and laughed at him. "If I didn't love you so much I would kick your ass out of here." I said. "Ooh that would be hot." He said. "You're dumb as hell." I laughed. When I- well we finished our shower we cuddled and watched tv together.
