Warning: Physical assault

Parker kept her head down as she walked around the auction, bumping into the man in black from before. "Hey, so...?" He put her hand on her waist, pulling her to him.

"Can you not," Her face contoured in disgust as she tried to push him away.

"Come on, baby," He pulled her close.

Parker looked straight ahead, seeing Nick just stand there watching this go on with teary regretful eyes, silently telling her sorry. "I said, DON'T. TOUCH. ME." Parker pushed him away, "What part of don't touch me, do you not understand?" She slapped him. He tried to catch her hand as she walked away. Parker caught his hand, pulling him over her and slamming him to the floor. She took the same arm twisting behind him and kneeing his neck to the cold tiles as people gathered around the scene.

"Do you think you can just do anything you want in my life and I will be okay with it?" She said through gritted teeth, staring directly at Nick as she pulled his hand more. "That you can just walk all over me, and fuck with my emotions and expect me to come running back just because you said sorry? Huh?" She wasn't talking to the man on the floor anymore. "When I say sorry, you ignore me and fuck others but when you say sorry, I'm just supposed to be okay?"

"I don't know what you're talking about?" The man cried. Parker broke her gaze from Nick, looking at the crowd around her, then the man under her knee, about to slip away. She quickly got up, grabbing her clutch, and stumbled out of the building.

Parker continued out, walking in the cold. Her mind tried to process everything that Nick told her. She mentally listed out all the red flags of the interaction, everything he told her was wrong and so messed up, but why was she still fighting the urge to go back?

Probably because she still loved him, too. Despite all the things he did to her, she couldn't get over him, she was supposed to hate him for fucking with her head, but she was just yearning to go back to him.

"Fuck this," Parker groaned, turning around to go back in when she bumps into a tall man dressed in all black, and his hair slicked back with too much product.

"So sorry," She apologized, trying to get past him.

"Miss?" Giovanni stops her, holding his phone out.

Parker wiped her tears and looked up at him. "Yes?" She smiled.

"I'm sorry to disturb you but have you by any chance seen her down here?" He showed his phone. Parker's eyes were still teary so she leaned down to take a look at what he was showing. Just as she did, he took a chance, using her vulnerability to his advantage, and struck her head, knocking her out, and caught her before she fell. "Never mind, found her." He shrugged, whistling for two more men to come and help him. They picked her up, putting her into the black car that rolled around the corner.

Back at the Auction

Twenty minutes had passed as Nick stood still, frozen as he watched Parker walk away from him.

"avem nevoie de tine aici," (We need you here) He heard through his comms.

"Huh?" He looked around, seeing blur because of the tears in his eyes.

"The women are here, we need you to come back," They said. Nick wiped his tears, walking back to the room.

"I'm not doing this," Nick shook his head as he paced the room.

"Excuse me?" One of the bodyguards stepped toward him.

"I'm not doing this, I quit." He fumed as he tied to step past him.
