Paris, France

Nick and Mace were currently in a hotel room, working on a plan for the drop while Parker was sitting in the room right below them, regretting every second of this op.

"So, sight lines here, traffic's one way..." Mace explained. Parker was sitting by the window in her room, trying to enjoy her coffee as she had her headphones in, listening to Mace and Nick's plan. Parker had arrived a day earlier than them, making sure to bug the place, so she could listen to their conversation. Was it extra? Yes. Could she have just followed them on the day? Yes. Was this nosey? Yes, but Parker was a curious person, and sometimes it made her do things like this. Did this make her look psychotic? Also yes, but she will never agree to it.

"We can't box 'em in," Mace said, looking up at Nick.

"No need," He replied, digging into his Chinese takeout. "He called us. We trade bags, walk away." He shrugged, "no muss, no fuss."

"Why don't we have a team on this?"

"No, but you do have me," Parker sighed, getting up to get her iPad to check the footage of what was going on. Oh, yeah! She installed a camera in there too, just for safety purposes tho, or at least that's what she told herself.

"It's a simple drop Mace. He could have sold that thing on the black market for a lot more but he just wants three mil for him to disappear," Parker gulped, hearing Nick talk in his low raspy, almost whisper voice always managed to get her body to react. She hated that he still had an affected her.

"What. A. Guy," Mace sighed, putting her takeout away.

"You ever consider it?" He asked. Parker sat up, looking at the footage, as she sipped on her now warm coffee.

"What? Committing high treason or starting a family?" Mace smiled, putting the silencer on her gun.

"Take your pick," Nick he shrugged.

"Chew with your mouth closed, asshole," Parker whispered, looking out the shitty view of her window.

"No, I haven't," She shook her head, assembling her gun.

"Yeah right," Parker rolled her eyes, knowing damn well she has.

"Cause you love this job," Nick looked out the window, before turning to her.

"One of us has to," She answered, setting everything up.

"Well, if you don't like the idea of family, you're really gonna love our cover," Nick took another bit of takeout.

"No," Mace stopped what she was doing, looking up at him. Nick placed his container on the table, pulling something out of his back pocket.

"We're um, Joel and Ethel Lewis," He said, placing a ring on the map. "For Iowa," he walked around to the chair. "On our honeymoon,"

"What that f-" Parker's jaw hung open.

"Our honeymoon?" Mace folded her arms in front of her looking at Nick.

"Yeah," Nick smiled, settling down in his chair.

"So you crafted this cover," Mace nodded.

"Of course he did," Parker rolled her eyes.

"You wanted me to do more work," Nick innocently nodded. "Sweetheart," He added.

"Oh! She gets sweetheart, and I get hours and hours of arguing," Parker was angry. Even if this was just a cover, seeing him go soft on Mace made Parker want to burn a building, but for now, she just kicked the pillow off the bench she was sitting in.
