Without further ado, chapter 5!!

Park sat in a cafe down the street from Edgar's hotel, she was about to go in, but she saw a woman enter, so she waited, trying to tap in any electronic devices he had. So, now she had to sit with her mind running a million miles per hour with anger and despair. She stared at the window, watching the women and Edgar interact, she noticed how stiff he was in the beginning, but relaxed as they talked.

She hated that she didn't take the watch, but after Nick said they were a mistake and he had moved on, it would not be fair that his mistake gets something to remember him by. She hated that she still loved him even after he said all those things about their time.

"Shit!" She cursed, looking at the window and noticing the room empty. She walked out, looking at the door, seeing Edgar and the woman walk out, Edgar held the woman close as they walked, looking around to make sure there was no one following. She wanted to get closer to them, but she noticed the other men guarding them.

She followed them into a fish market, taping into the security footage and seeing the waitress again, she pulled out her other device, running her face through her database.

"Marie Schmidt, an agent with BND," She mumbled, trying to find more about her. "No living family, no friends, no boyfriends or girlfriends" She shook her head. "Woman has no social life!" Must be nice, Parker thought.

"Fuck," She saw Mace talking to a dark-skinned woman. Parker changed the camera angle, "Khadijah?" She gasped as watched the women speak. "What are they doing here?"

She saw Edgar and the women walk down the middle of the market, heavily guarded. She watched them spread out, trying to cover the perimeter. Parker watched as Marie took out man after man, getting closer to Edgar. "Great now, I probably have to pry it out of her hands... Or dead body,"

She walked out from her hiding spot, trying to get closer to them when Mace runs into Marie, knocking both of them into a storage closet.

"Oh well," She shrugged, continuing to get close to the target.

"Oh shit!" Parker saw the bald man turn around shooting Edgar and fighting the other men. She wanted to approach them, but Khadijah would see her, and it would blow her cover if this attempt failed. Parker watched the bald man take the bag and walk towards the door. She rushed to the injured man and worried lady first, "Here," She took out her scarf handing it to the women, "Put pressure on the wound," She guided the woman.

Edgar, or Luis as the woman called him, shook his head, taking out his phone and putting the woman's thumb on it. "No confíes en nadie," (Trust no one) he said, putting the phone in the woman's hand. He pushed Parker away, remembering who she was, and repeating his words to her.

"I'm trying to help you asshole," Parker whispered under breath, holding her ribs and going back to him. Edgar pushed her again, this time pulling the knife out of its holster and swiping it across her leg. "Fuck!" Parker cried out, holding her ankle. She heard the police sirens, making her jump up. She picked up her scarf, and limped outside, as she walked to the pier, she sees Marie, Mace, and Khadijah all standing on containers shooting into the water. She sighed, knowing she blow another chance.

Parker stayed outside the crime scene, her scarf tightly tied to her bleeding ankle. She watched Marie fake cry to walk to the woman, manipulating her way to her. Parker would be lying if she said she was not impressed by this woman, how easily she switched shades, how rogue she was, and most importantly, she had no emotional weight.
