Tia Julieta told Andres that Alma is sorry the next morning. he nods not really caring knowing his grandmother won't say it to him. he sighs and breakfast is quiet other than the announcement that the guzmans will be over tonight so Mariano can propose to Isabela.
Andres decides to help his Tia Julieta today in town.
"hey Madrigal" he hears
he looks up and smiles at Valentina.
"hey"
She hands him back his Ruana
"i believe this belongs to you. "
"thanks " Andres smile and puts it on.
"i meant to ask you.. how tall are you?"
"oh uh 5"11 i think" he answers
"God you are a tree!"
Andres laughs and it's a genuine laugh. Valentina smiles and she really likes his laugh.
"Andres i need you to pass me another batch of arepas" Julieta shouts from where she is.
"got it Tia! ... see you later..Guzman" Andres teases and teleports to where the arepas is
He brings them to his tia who thanks him. He smiles and helps her until it's time to go home. He notices Mirabel talking to Abuela. He teleports to his room wanting nothing to do with Abuela right now.
He knows he has to be on his best behavior today at dinner if he doesn't want to hear his abuela's mouth. At least he gets to see Valentina at dinner today. He smiles as one of his rats run up his arm and gets comfy on his shoulder.
"hey buddy. I felt like i haven't seen you in a few days. " he says and pet the rat he calls Jorge.
the rat squeaks at him and Andres wish you understood animals like his youngest primo.
"okay dinner will be perfect today." he mumbles and fixes his hair.
He hurries and goes help everyone set up. He notices Mirabel isn't around yet. maybe she's in her room.
"Oye Mariano's on his way!" abuela shouts
Soon everyone is sitting down for dinner and Alma proposes a toast. Andres can't help but notice Dolores looking weird. you raise an eyebrow as you are next to Agustin. you see Dolores whisper to Camilo who starts shape shifting.
"Primo your face" you warn him not wanting the night to go bad.
"water" Isabela ask trying to take the attention off Camilo
andres look and see Camilo say something to his dad who then talks to tia pepa. he could have sworn they said his dad's name.
"pepa the cloud" Alma tells her daughter
"clear skies clear skies clear skies" Pepa says and runs her hands through her hair
Andres looks at Valentina hoping she doesn't think his family is nuts. she just looks amused. Julieta is shocked after what Pepa tells her and Andres knows just from her face as she looks at Mirabel.
Everything is just going down hill then Antonio's animal friends push on the table one of Bruno's vision boards
"What is happening?" Alma demanded
"Mirabel found Bruno's vision. She's in it.She's gonna destroy the magic and now, we're all doomed!" Dolores shrieks not able to hold it
everyone's eyes widen. Andres keeps teleporting every where out of nerves and finally lands in his room with a headache. he groans and holds his head. if he teleports one more time he might pass out or get a nose bleed. He knows everyone is panicking around the house but he can't go look for Mirabel like he wants to help. he takes some time to breath and try to get his energy back up. he takes a nap until he's shaken awake by Camilo.
"Primo.. we need help. Abuela wants Mirabel now. " he tells his cousin
he groans and sits up. they go downstairs but hear arguing.
"I don't know why you weren't given a Gift, but it is not an excuse for you to hurt this family" Alma says
"I will never be good enough for you.Will I?No matter how hard I try.No matter how hard any of us tries.Luisa will never be strong enough.Isabela won't be perfect enough.Andres will always look like Bruno.. Tio Bruno left our family because you only saw the worst in him." Mirabel agrues
"Bruno didn't care about this family. he left his own son"
"He loves this family.I love this family. We all love this family.You're the one that doesn't care.You're the one breaking our home." Mirabel tells Alma
"Don't you ever..." alma starts
"The miracle is dying, because of you!"
the floor cracks.
"the candle!" Felix exclaims.
"casita get me up there!" Mirabel shouts
Andres and Camilo look at each other. Isabela and Camilo try to get it first but fail. Andres teleports up and helps Mirabel reach the candle.
"Andres Mirabel get out! it's not worth it!" Julieta screams
but Casita pushes them all out.
"I'm going to try to teleport us. i never done this with another person" he warns his cousin.
she nods trusting him. he holds her and tries hard but only gets them downstairs before he passes out with blood coming out his nose.
"Andres!" she screams.
Casita builds a shelter around the two as the house falls. soon Julieta and Agustin move the stuff and get Andres and Mirabel free
"Mirabel are you okay?" Julieta ask
"I'm fine. help Andres mami. he passed out. he tried to teleport us out and then his nose bled and he won't wake. " Mirabel begs.
Augustin helps by moving the boy and Julieta looks him over. they don't notice Mirabel running off.
after about an hour Andres wakes and holds his head groaning at the pain.
"Mami he's up" he hears Isabela say
he looks around and see the house ruin
"Mirabel" Andres looks around.
he tries to get up but can't because of the pain.
"relax or you will hurt yourself "Isabela tells her younger cousin
"where's Mirabel?" he ask
"uh she ran off. we will find her " Isabela tells him
he tries to teleport but nothing happens
"I..I can't teleport"
"the candle burnt out.. we all lost our gifts" Isabela explains.
