Andres is woke up by Mirabel shaking him. he looks to his side and Valentina is still sleeping. her hair falls perfectly on her face and her lips slightly parted, she looks so peaceful.
"Her parents are downstairs demanding she comes out so they can head back home. Abuela said Valentina can stay if she chooses to." Mirabel said.
she gives him a pair of clothes for Valentina. she goes to wait for both of them downstairs. Andres changes into his clothes and then wakes Valentina.
"Amor im sleepy." she whines not wanting to get up.
"your parents are downstairs amor." Andres said pushing her hair from her face.
she opens her eyes and sit up. Andres gives her the clothes Mirabel left in his room. he turns around so she can change.
"okay ready." Valentina sighs
they two go downstairs and see her parents. Andres has his arm around Valentina protectively. Mr Guzman is tapping his foot impatient while Mrs Guzman is looking anxious.
"Valentina let's go now." Mr Guzman said
"woah there, let's talk about this." Bruno said
"you stay out of this" Mr Guzman said
"don't talk to my son that way." Alma said, she doesn't let anyone mess with her youngest child.
"I don't have to stay out of this because it involves My son who loves your daughter very much. you can't just tear these two apart!" Bruno said glaring.
Andres tries to hide his smile. he loves seeing his father stand up for himself.
"I don't want to go back home. I want to stay." Valentina said
"I'm your father you have no choice." Mr Guzman said annoyed.
Andres knows he has to do something so he moves his arm from Valentina and teleports to his room. He grabs a bag that he has hidden and teleports back. everyone looks at the teen confused. Andres shoves the bag into Mr Guzman's chest.
"that's all my money I saved since i was 8. I was planning on saving it to run away but then my dad came back into my life. since you think everything has a price that's mine for Val even though no amount of money can buy her because she's not an object and she's too good for anyone." Andres said.
Mr Guzman opens the bag and takes out big wads of money. He smirks seeing all the money.
"deal. Let's go." he said to his wife.
"you can't seriously put a price on our daughter." she says.
he shushes her and pulls her out the house. Andres sees Valentina tear up and Andres pulls her into his chest. he rubs her back and she breaths heavy and tries to hide her face.
"it's okay I got you." Andres said.
He looks at his family before taking Valentina upstairs to help calm her down. he sits with her on his bed and do breathing exercises that usually help her with panic attacks
"remember to focus on me baby, i'm right here with you always." Andres said
Valentina breaths while staring into his green eyes. she sees the love and concern in his eyes.
"why would he just basically sell me?" Valentina asks low
"I don't know amor but I promise to protect you. i'm always going to be here, I'll always want you." Andres said
"what if you get sick of me?" she asks.
"nonsense. I will never get sick of you. I'm madly deeply in love with you."
"what if we break up?"
"Val if we break up I will still be your friend. You mean so much to me already. I don't see you out of my life. I am with you because I see myself marrying you and starting a family with you. I love you." Andres says and caresses her cheek.
"I love you too." Valentina hugs her boyfriend.
Andres holds her close and kisses the top of her head. Valentina always knew Andres wouldn't let anything happen to her but today really showed it.
"it's us against the world. As long as I got you I don't need anything." Andres said
"except a couple meals with that pit-less stomach of yours." Valentina jokes.
Andres cracks a smile.
"exactly. My lady and some food. That's happiness to me."
