Andres is currently helping Senora Guzman by painting her house since she doesn't want to bother mariano.
"hey stranger" he hears his favorite voice behind him.
he turns and smiles at his beautiful girlfriend.
"hey beautiful" he said
he tries to lean on the house to be cool but falls on the ground. Valentina burst out laughing as Andres groans.
"huh I expected a louder noise when you fell" she said between her laugh.
He gets up and pulls her close.
"haha very funny" he said sarcastically before pecking her lips.
she smiles up at him.
"so i was thinking... maybe you can take a break and we get a milkshake or something. " she tells him.
"well i'm almost done. how about i finish off and then we do whatever you want?" he said
she instantly nods and he smiles. he finishes up painting and Valentina watches him. Andres has a face of concentration as he works. She never thought someone can look so handsome. she never thought she'd fall in love.
"hey Madrigal" Valentina said
"yes mi vida?" Andres said and looks her way
"I love you" she said smiling
Andres can't help but smile big.
"i love you too."
Señora Guzman checks over the painting and thanks Andres for the help.
"all yours" Andres holds out his hand
Valentina gladly takes his hand and smiles. they walk in a comfortable silence as they walk into town.
"can we get fries too with the milkshake? i'm hungry" he asks
she chuckles and nods.
"you are always hungry amor" she said
"hey i'm a growing boy" Andres complains
"stop growing. you are already like a foot taller than me"
He couldn't help but chuckle. his girlfriend is something else.
"thank genetics for that." Andres said
they get milkshakes and fries. they sit on a bench outside and enjoy the day.
"you know i was talking with your tia early and she said something about you maybe going with your brother back home." Andres said
Valentina sighs and looks at her hands.
"he wants me to come back home." she said
"well are you?" he asks nervous.
"i-i don't know." valentina admits.
"but what about us? I need you Val."Andres said sad
"I miss my parents and seeing my brother." she said
Andres stays silent and looks away.
"look i didn't want to talk about it until i had to actually make a decision. My tia told them how well i was doing here so they thought i learned my lesson. i didn't tell you why i was sent here to begin with... i was sneaking out the house a lot and partying. they didn't want me to ruin my life." Valentina admits
"what else haven't you told me? do you have a boyfriend back home?" Andres asked feeling lied to.
"what? what kind of girl do you think i am Andres?" she said getting angry
"well i don't know." Andres said
Valentina grabs her milkshake and dumps it on his head before storming off. Andres doesn't know what just happened, he let his feelings get the best of him.
he teleports home and takes a shower to get the sticky mess off him. when he gets out and changed there's banging in his room door. He opens it to meet the angry faces of his primas.
"what the hell Andres?" Isabela asks
"she's packing to leave. you should have tried to understand how she feels. "Dolores said
"how she feels? what about me? she lied to me and plans on leaving me. everyone i love ends up leaving me!" Andres shouts
He stops and realizes something. it's not about him. it's about the girl he loves and he just hurt her. he accused her because he was hurt and he was scared of losing her.
"Hey i understand you are scared but you fucked up and you have to fix it before it's too late. That girl is in love with and you are with her. If she wants to go you have to let her but let her know that you love her." Mirabel said.
"im going to fix it. " he said before rushing out.
He teleports to her room and sees Valentina shoving things in her suitcase and he hears her sobbing. it breaks his heart especially when he sees the picture of them at her nightstand.
"Val" he said
she jumps and turns toward the taller teen. his heart breaks more seeing her tear stain face.
"i'm sorry mi amor i'm so sorry." he said and hugs her
she sobs into his chest and he rubs her back. he starts to cry being the emotional softie he is. he sits with her and pulls her close.
"i'm so sorry i only thought of myself. I didn't want you to leave me because i'm scared. I dealt with losing people i love and to think of you leaving just hurt. But Val if you want to go don't let me hold you back. You are everything to me. I'll write you every week. I'll send you stuff in the mail. I just want you to be happy. " Andres said
"You make me happy Andres you do. my family is coming tomorrow. i want you to meet my parents. I.. i think i want to go home but i don't want to leave you." Valentina said
"hey you can do whatever you want. I'll be by your side." Andres said
she wipes his tears and kisses him. he kisses her back. she pushes him back on her bed and they kiss their worries away for now.
