Bruno and Andres have been making up for lost time. they put on shows with the rats for Dolores and Antonio. Today is the day of the week where the madrigal triplets take time together.
Andres decided to go see Valentina today. He sees her in town and starts to walk over but then he sees her hug some guy he never seen before. the smile on his face falls. He goes to teleport and before he does Valentina sees him. He quickly teleports and ends up in Mirabel's room. She's busy sewing so she didn't hear him teleport in.
"Mira.." his voice breaks a bit
She turns and sees the sad face on her older cousin.
"Dres " she says and gets up
she hugs him and he hugs back.
"what's wrong?" she ask
"i uh.. I was going to see Valentina but I saw her in town hugging some guy I don't know. I don't want to assume but it hurt to see her happy with someone else. i panicked and left. " he sighs
"oh Andres."
she sits and lets her cousin rest his head on her lap as she plays with his hair. she's pretty good at calming her cousin down better than anyone.
"do you think she likes me the way I like her? or am i just a friend? "
"Andres Im pretty sure she likes you. She hangs around you a lot. I see her blushing every now and then. I know you like her because you seem to look for her first every time we head to town. "
Andres looks at his cousin. Camilo knocks and comes in.
"Andres your girlfriend's here" he teases and shifts into her and puckers his lips.
Andres throws a pillow at him hard and gets up.
"oww! Tio Bruno!" Camilo shifts back and runs off
Andres heads downstairs and sees Valentina standing there.
"Madrigal. there you are. you left before I could introduce you to my big brother Samuel. "
"brother?" he ask relief
"yeah who else would... wait did you think that was like my boyfriend or something?" she ask
Andres looks away not wanting to say anything. Valentina walks over and looks up at him.
"look at me" she said stern
Andres stares into her eyes. God he loves her hazel eyes. she smiles small being able to see his green ones.
"I don't know if you are dumb or what but I like you... not platonically.. romantically " she tells the boy
"you do?"
"geez Andres Madrigal, go on a date with me tonight. you plan it and pick me up at 5. " Valentina tells him
she pulls him to her level by his ruana and kisses his cheek. he blushes and she smiles at him. she leaves and Andres watches the girl as she goes.
In the same moment the Madrigal triplets walk in and see the big goofy smile and blush on the tall teen.
"i know that face" Pepa says excited
"Your dad has the same face when he got a date with your mami"
she hugs her nephew only for him to blush more
"Tia i don't have any face " Andres feels more embarrassed
"hey don't even think of meddling. he's got this. " Bruno says pulling his son out of pepa's grip
