I believed I lived in a dream Of roses, so cerise The wicked prosper while serving the lord Would never tread beneath The worst O did I dream! Verity that screamed At my jaunt As if to taunt My miseries Roses oh so carmine Now raised spines Lacerating my fizz Showing me the skies Atramental Tearing my beliefs Lend me a hand, my lord Lend me a hand and release This fiends inside of me Thriving on my soul Lend me a hand, please.
