I'm despicable to the light Who beheld my sins, coerced me to refrain But fell trounced to demise When held captive by the evil. Rage departed when remorse arrived I inched closer to apathy for, If I let the rapier prickle my core, Make the ice flux and mould Into a mush of shame I wouldn't, I wouldn't survive this game. I deemed I swayed with the wit of it all, Sufficient enough to renounce her fall. We stood apart on the ground. I fought- Sparring with all my might, Defending my heart Attacking her sight. Rendering me stunned, She rose up to all her glorious severity, Thrashed my senses around, Brought me to my knees, Darkness was all I could see As I found my soul in my serene defeat.
