Kyunghu's POV

Timeskip~The next day

I still hadn't seen Minhee since dinner last night. Why was he acting like this? Suddenly ignoring me?

There was a constant, burning temptation in me to try talking to him again, but I was scared.

I found myself standing in front of his door multiple times that day. My hand was held up, ready to knock, but I never did.

Serim was still worried about him, and the other members seemed to be growing concerned. Minhee always loves having days off, but he never spends them locked away and alone.

Eventually, after a lot of contemplation, Serim finally went in to talk to him. We were both scared, but it had to be done.

Serim came back out of his room, not looking any more worried than when he entered. "What did he say?" I asked hurriedly.

"He just kept saying, 'I'm scared, I can't do this.' He was almost crying. I don't know what to do, Kyunghu." Serim sounded desperate for answers, and I was, too.

"Maybe I should talk to him," I said. He nodded and without thinking, with nothing stopping me, I slowly opened his door and walked in.

He was sitting on his bed and looking up, like he was the other night. He lowered his head to see me, but put it right back up. I sat next to him, but he didn't seem phased.

"Minhee, what's going on?" I asked gently. He didn't say anything. I nudged him to get his attention, but he didn't move.

"Minhee?" He sighed and looked down at me, but quickly looked back up again. He was hugging his knees and his eyes were a bit puffy, which worried me even more.

We sat in silence for a while, but it wasn't like we usually did. It was saddening. He kept sniffling, as if trying to keep himself from crying.

After a while, he finally uttered something, although I could barely hear it. "I don't know how to do this, Kyunghu." His voice was shaky and quiet. He glanced back down at me, but didn't look away this time.

"Do what?" I whispered. His eyes shined with tears in them, and he couldn't say anything. He looked the complete other way from me and sniffled a few times. I hung my head, not knowing what to do.

"I'll leave you alone if you want," I said. Without turning his head back around, he nodded. With that, I left his room, a few tears rolling down my face.

Serim saw me and immediately consoled me. "What happened? Is he okay? Are you okay?" He was frantic and sat me down at the table.

I tried keeping my composure, but I couldn't talk. I wasn't sobbing, but I was crying enough that my words slurred.

Serim comforted me and made me some tea. I calmed down eventually and explained everything to him, making sure no other members could hear us.

He was shocked, but not entirely surprised. He also didn't know what to do, but he was trying to think of something.

"I think you should get some sleep and forget about everything for a while. It'll make you feel better." I nodded and wiped my face. "I will. Thank you." He smiled and wished me goodnight.

I fell asleep crying and worrying.
