Kyunghu's POV

I was zoned out. It was still way too early to function, and the boys were about to perform already. I caught myself staring at Minhee unintentionally. When I came to my senses, I stood up and walked over to him.

"Good luck today. You got this," I reassured. He smiled and nodded as the makeup artist made his face even prettier.

I went around to the others to check on them, but Serim stopped me. Other than Minhee, Serim was my best friend.

"Do you know what's up with Minhee? He's been a little.. sad since last night. I noticed when I checked on him, he didn't seem right." I got scared. I thought I'd done something to upset him.

"I'm not sure. I'll ask him later today and let you know." He thanked me and put on his jacket.

The boys started lining up to go on stage, and I stood next to Minhee, who was at the front of the line. I looked up at him, and he looked at me, then down at my hand. He bumped it and looked forward again, and I didn't say anything.

The boys came off the stage with the crowd cheering. I walked by Minhee into the dressing room and sat next to him, this time not getting back up to say anything to the other members.

"You did awesome," I said to him. He squeezed out a smile, but didn't say anything.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder. He looked scared that I asked. He sighed and looked down as the hair stylist fluffed his hair.

"I just didn't get much sleep last night." I knew he was lying, but I went along with it to make him feel better.

"Oh, okay. You can probably take a short nap on the way to the other venue if you need to," I suggested. He nodded and looked up at me with his tired eyes.

I stayed by him the whole time, sitting in loud silence. The stylists did what they were told to do, and Minhee and I just sat there, occasionally looking at each other awkwardly. But just each other's company was ensuring enough.

We all packed up to leave the venue, only to go right across the city to another one and perform a different song. I followed Minhee again, sitting next to him on the bus.

He really was tired. He leaned on my shoulder and quickly fell asleep, even as the other members bonded loudly. We were the only ones not saying a word, but I was okay with it.
