I yelled his name a few times, but he didn't seem to hear me. I began to tear up, realizing this was the moment I was actually confronting him.

I called his name one last time as I caught up to him, and he finally turned around. He didn't have any time to react before I was right in front of him.

Out of breath, I stared up at him, and he looked confused. Before he could say anything, I grabbed his arm and pulled him aside and out of people's way.

"Kyunghu, what are you doing?" he asked angrily. He pulled his arm away from me. I caught the rest of my breath and said, "Minhee, you can't hide forever." His face was angry, but his eyes were gentle.

"What are you talking about?" he asked, playing dumb. I huffed and pulled him down to my level. "I know you like me, you idiot. I like you too. It's obvious!"

He pulled away from my face and looked scared, but I pulled him back down.

"Do you think the other night was subtle? Do you really think I wouldn't get the hint? Serim knows everything!" Minhee pulled away from me once more. I didn't grab him again. I was yelling now, which scared him even more.

"We've been so worried about you! And you won't even bother to come out of your room to eat breakfast. I know it's hard to admit you like someone! I know you're hard on yourself, but you have to stop that! Running away won't fix anything, Kang Minhee!"

He looked defeated. His eyes were watery, and his hands were shaking. He leaned back onto the side of the building and took a deep breath.

"Are you gonna say something?" I yelled, walking towards him. He backed away from me and put his hands up, keeping me away.

"Kyunghu, please don't do this," he pleaded. I suddenly went soft, and my angry expression disappeared. My eyes felt weak, and I realized what I'd said. I yelled at him and scared him.

"You don't know how hard this has been on me," he said insecurely. "Yes, I do. It's been hard on me, too. You're not the only one who's hurting." He looked taken aback by that, and I knew I said something wrong.

His eyes failed and tears dripped down his face, and he turned around quickly and started walking away. I grabbed his arm and pulled at him. "Minhee, you can't run away from everything!" He forcefully pulled his arm away and whipped back around.

"Cha Kyunghu, don't make me fall in love with you!" he shouted. I backed up, surprised that he raised his voice. His eyes were red and he was breathing heavily. I didn't know what to say, and neither did he.

He'd never yelled at me, and I felt horrible. I pestered him so much that he snapped, and now there was nothing I could do.

I looked down at my hand that he'd just ripped his arm out of, and looked back at him. Right in his eyes.

"Well, it's too late for that," I silently said. He gulped and stood up straight, keeping his saddened gaze on me.

"And it's not too late to fix everything, either," I said, standing up, too. He almost looked offended, but he didn't know how to say what he wanted to.

"Kyunghu, I told you. I don't know..." He paused and took a breath. "...how to do this." He stared at me lovingly. The spark was still there, but it wasn't enough.

"I'm sorry. Leave me alone." He turned around and left, walking in the opposite direction of the company building.
