BEN's POV

My heart shattered as I read the note crumpled in my hand. The girl I loved was gone and she was never going to come back. I sunk to the floor and sobbed, before pulling out the note and reading it for the millionth time.

Dear BEN,
I am so sorry to tell you this, but I'm leaving. Where to, I am still deciding. I want you to know, I love you. I always have and I always will. One day, I will tell the world that I feel this way. But now, it's time to say goodbye. I hope that you will meet someone else and be happy because you deserve it. You deserve better than me. Please don't be sad my darling, and please don't try to find me. I'm sorry that I took the cowards way out, but I couldn't stand to see you sad. What I want? You. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but I don't belong here anymore. I don't belong anywhere. All I want for you is for you to forget about me and fall in love with someone else. Anyone but Clockwork though! So, I decided to make this come true. I spoke to Opal Leaf before I left, and she has agreed to give you a potion. This potion will make you forget me, and help you to fall in love with someone else. Give Jeff the note that I have hidden in your second drawer. Beg him to take you to see Opal. I just want you to be happy. Another thing, burn this note. Burn anything that is mine. Then you can forget. Please babe, forget and be happy.

How can she be so stupid! I can't be happy without her. It's impossible! She is my life and I love her with all my heart and soul. Does she seriously think I will give up? Because I won't ever give up on her. Standing up, I ran to the door and ran down to Slender Man's office.

"Slendy! Slendy open up now!" I banged on the door with my Palm. The door burst open and Slendy glared at me (as much as someone can without a face).

"What do you want BEN? I'm busy." He snapped. I thrust the note at him and he grabbed it angrily. He read it swiftly and sighed deeply.

"I had no idea... Get Jeff and the proxies." He demanded. I nodded.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We're going to go and find her." He said grimly. Nodding again, I ran to my room, grabbed the note for Jeff, and ran to his room. I ran in, not even knocking. Jeff glared at me angrily.

"Get out BEN!" He yelled, throwing his knife at me. I ducked swiftly, before glaring back at him.

"No! Midnight's gone. She left you a note. Just read it and then come to Slendy's office. Hurry!" I saw his face pale, before I ran out of the room. I'm coming Midnight.

Jeff's POV.

Midnight's gone. Midnight's gone. That's all I could keep thinking. I felt my world crumble around me. My heart shattered as I thought about her smile, her laugh, her voice. She was perfect. The note. Read the bloody note! I opened it and read with shaking hands.

Dear Jeff,
Oh my Lord, how do I start? Somehow, writing a note for BEN was easier. Let me just say, I have never had a best friend before I met you. How far would I have gotten, without you here? I could've made it on my own, but you were like my stepping stones. I love you Jeff. You're my best friend. I can't imagine ever leaving you, but I am right now. I'm leaving and I have no idea where I am going. I just know that wherever I go, I will always remember you. The only thing I want, is for you to never forget me. But at the same time, all I want is for you to forget me. That's why I am asking one last thing from you. Please take BEN to Opal Leaf. Ask for the Midnight Potion. She will know what you mean. I want both you and BEN to drink it. It will make you forget me forever. Please don't try to find me. You will only fail. This is the hardest thing I have ever done, but I don't belong here anymore. Goodbye Jeff. I will never forget you.
