Just to let you know, this is a very short chapter. Sorry!

It was that night that I decided to leave. Jeff didn't want me here. Clockwork clearly didn't want me here. Jane didn't want me here. I don't belong with the creepypastas. I belonged at home, whether my family was there or not. I crept out of bed and pulled out a bag from under the bed. I looked at BEN sadly. He was sleeping, his hair covering part of his face. He was smiling slightly, as if he was having a nice dream. I shook my head and crept to the wardrobe. Pulling my clothes off the hangers, I hissed when they crashed together. I looked over at BEN worryingly, but he was still asleep. I folded the clothes and put them in the bag. Next, I picked up pictures. First of all, I picked up the picture of my family. Slender man had gone back to the house to get me clothes and a few personal belongings. Another picture I had was of BEN and I. We were sitting in our room, my arms around his neck. I was kissing him on the cheek as he grinned like an idiot. We had two copies of that picture. One was mine and one was BEN's. I tucked it in the bag gently, before zipping it up. I kissed BEN on the cheek, slipping a note into his hand at the same time. I was going to miss him. But, I didn't belong. I wasn't a creepypasta, and I was never going to be.

Slipping down the stairs, I heard a noise in the kitchen. Toby was in there, making waffles. I tried to creep past but he heard me.

"H-hey M-Midnight." Toby stuttered. I smiled. I liked Toby. He is pretty awesome. I threw my bag round the corner so he didn't see it.

"Hi Toby. You ok?" I asked casually. He nodded.

"Wh-Where are y-you going?" He asked.

"Just for a little walk." I replied nervously. He nodded.

"Ok. D-do you want m-me to come?" He asked sweetly.

"No thanks Toby. I need some alone time. I will see you tomorrow." I answered. He nodded and waved, stuffing a waffle into his mouth. I giggled before walking out the door, down the steps, and into the woods. The second I got in the woods, I ran. I ran home as quickly as I could.

When I arrived outside my house, I sighed. This was the place where I brutally slaughtered my family. I pulled out my keys and ran up to the front door. Unlocking it, I looked around nervously. I wonder what it looks like? I placed my keys on the hook and shut the door behind me. I flipped on the light hopefully. It still worked! I walked into the living room and gasped. It was clean and fresh. No blood. No gore. I slowly walked upstairs, memories rushing through my mind. I stopped outside my room and sighed. Last time I was in there, some crazy guy had crawled through my window and my brother was hanging by his feet from the ceiling. Now, my room was probably clean and back to how it was before this nightmare started. Still, the only way to find out was to go in there. I slowly turned the door knob and peered inside. It was black in there, no light was streaming through the window. The blind had been pulled down. I flipped the light switch and smiled. It was still my little black nest. My mother had had a shock when she came home one day. I had painted my walls black, the ceiling black and I had even painted the wooden floor black! Leaping onto my bed, I sighed content. I was happy. I was alone. But most of all, I was safe. My eyes grew heavy and slowly, slowly, I sunk into a deep sleep.

Smoke. That was all I could smell. Ugh. Had Toby burnt the waffles or was BEN trying to make pancakes again? I opened my eyes with a gasp. I was at home and my house was on fire. Everything was - wait what! My house was on fire! Black plumes of smoke billowed into my room and I began to choke. The door was blocked off, flames filling the doorway. Running towards the window, I grabbed the blind and pushed it up desperately. There was a figure standing by the house, smirking. Wait. Is that? No! She looked up at my window and smiled. I flung it open and shouted at her to help me. She cackled before shouting back:

"Sorry but I can't help you. Your time is up." Yep. I'm sure you guessed right. Clockwork. I flung myself onto the floor and sobbed. I was going to die. So much for being safe! The window was now engulfed in flames and all hope of escape was gone. That was when I heard the voice.

"Oh Sh*t! Midnight? Midnight where are you?" I tried to work out who it was but I couldn't.

"Help me please! I'm in the room at the end of the corridor. Please, don't let me die!" I sobbed, my face wet.

"I won't I promise. I'm coming Midnight. Don't worry. You're going to be okay. I won't leave you." The voice soothed. Then a thought struck me.

"Wait where you are. I'm coming to you." I yelled, suddenly determined.

"What? No you will die." The voice yelled back. Who the hell is it? I sighed crossly. Talk about being underestimated. Then I was thinking of walking on two legs, with fire fur and razor sharp claws. I am the hell cat. I shrunk smaller and smaller, my tiny lungs filling with smoke. I gasped and threw myself through the fire. It didn't hurt. After all, in this form, I was made of fire.

"What the? Oh. So you're a hell cat. Beautiful little creature." The voice whispered, as it became wheezy.

"We don't have much time. Let's go." I said. I peered at the figure, but I still couldn't work out who it was. I ran down the corridor before turning. The fire! I can just run through it, but the other person couldn't. I looked around desperately before seeing our escape.

"This way!" I yelled. I ran into my parents bedroom and ran to the window. I let the mystery figure open it before I leapt up.

"Jump!" I screamed before leaping. I heard a yell behind me as whoever it was jumped. I landed on my feet and stared at the burning house. My emotions were so high, that I felt myself growing taller and I turned back into a human. A very naked human. I fell to my knees and sobbed. My pictures were now burning. The only picture I had of my family and the picture of me and BEN. I cried and cried, until my sadness turned to anger and hatred. I felt my eyes glow red and I began to shake. Suddenly, a cloak was wrapped around my shoulders and I smiled gratefully, pulling it around me. Then I froze. I know who's cloak this is. I stood up and slowly turned around. I let out a strangled cry.

"You!"
