Time skip to Febuary a day before Erica gets ready for the babies having made it to the planned due date. This is in 3rd Persons Pov and the setting is at Derek's office area in the apartment complex that he owns talking to his employee.
"Hey Mr. Hale why do you still have your apartment if you have a house?" Jake asked
"Because my kids have a place to go when they can't be watched and so they can nap. My husband also sleeps there sometimes if it's why to late when he comes home. Speaking of which the kids should be here soon, so Boyd should be stopping by soon." Derek says
"Are you giving Boyd special treatment because he is your son?" Jake asked
"No I'm giving him today, tommrow, and the next month off which is the legal time off. I also gave him today and tommrow because the doctor wants to keep Erica happy and stay off her feet because she is set to give birth tommrow and having more then one baby is very dangerous and stressful. I would give you the same time off and even still pay you. So he's not getting speciel treatment because I would give that to you aswell." Derek says
"Even if it was just one baby?" Jake asked
"Yes, babies are stressful and alot of work for both the parents involved all work load and stress is the same." Derek says
"Ah ok." Jake says
Boyd walks into the office with Talia, Claudia, and Alison holding his hands.
"Daddy!" Claudia runs and gives him a hug
"Hey C, how was your school day?" Derek asked
"Good." Claudia says
"That's good and you Tally?" Derek asked
"Fine I'm tired can I take a nap now?" Talia asked
"Yeah give me one sec then I'll take you to the apartment ok." Derek says
"Ok." Talia says
"Ali how was your day?" Derek questions
"It was great." Alison says
"That's good." Derek says
"Thanks for dropping them off, Erica doing ok?" Derek asked
"She is fine she was really craving brookie dough ice cream and I don't want to make her mad." Boyd says
"Makes sense. I will see you at home and thanks for dropping the girls off." Derek says
"No problem bye dad." Boyd says
"Bye." Derek says
"This is why I asked. How many kids do you have again?" Jake asked
Derek rolls his eyes
"You mean biologically, emotionally, or legally?" Derek asked
"All?" Jake said confussed
"Emotionally atleast 15 maybe more. Legally 3 which are Issac, Boyd, and Theo. Biologically 3 the twins and Thomas." Derek says
"I...?" Jake says
"I have a big extended family. I'll be right back I'm going to drop Talia off at the apartment, Claudia Alison do you want to come or?" Derek asked
"I want to come." Claudia says
"Alright I'll be back in like 10 minutes." Derek says walking out of the office with Talia, Claudia, and Alison.
Derek tucks Talia into bed and set up a baby monitor so he can check on her, Claudia and Alison decided to take a nap aswell so he makes sure the baby monitor can keep track of everyone. The apartment is also right next door to the office and security cameras and stuff.
"Sorry about that she loves her sleep, she can sleep anywhere." Derek says
"So Erica is your daughter in law?" Jake questioned
"Yeah she is." Derek says
"Ok than." Jake says
Derek raised an eyebrow but brushed it off.
Derek's phone rings
"Yes Is(intentional just a nick name for Issac) what do you need?" Derek says answering
"Can you tell me where the keys to my car is it's not safe here." Issac says
"What do you mean?" Derek asked thinking of potential dangers completely missing over the fact he doesn't know where Issac's keys are
"Stiles is glaring at me and passive aggressively doing the dishes he asked me to do five hours ago. It's not safe." Issac says
"Why didn't you do the dishes?" Derek asked
"Because Erica needed me." Issac says
"Ok that makes sense check your pocket if there not there hide with Erica in her room he won't hurt you if you are by Erica." Derek says calmly thinking of the only place Issac keys would be. If he asked Stiles would know the exact location he has those superpowers where even if the kid looks everywhere and they still can't find it but once you call your mom she finds it quickly.
"Thanks dad." Issac says and hangs up
