Chapter 12: The Intruder

Enjoy this cute little momment between some of the kids while they're parents are out. This takes place after the 4th or a july chapter. Also when I update again expect that to be the end of part B or close. Because part C is them in high school.

3rd Persons Pov
The kids are home alone aka the twins, Thomas, the triplets, Alison, Warrior, and Tara.

They are home alone at the Hale house because the twins and Alison are old enough to be home alone and wacth some of the little kids(Due to medical emergencies my sister would take care of us starting at age 11 sometimes when a babysitter was to busy so I deem them appropriate age enough for this since they are 12 I think?) Talia and Claudia are watching a movie in the living room when  the door bell rings. Alison and Warrior walk in right at that momment from the kitchen with snacks. The triplets and Tara look at Claudia.
"Did dad or mom say anyone was coming over?" Talia questioned
"No!" Claudia says sounding a bit panicked

Everyone looks scared because none of them are expecting anyone and the parental units didn't say anyone was coming over. With their parents still being hunted sometimes by supernatural creatures and hunters, they have been taught a protective protocol for situations like these.
"Hit the deck," Warrior whispers loudly
The triplets, Alison, and tara all hit the deck. AKA lay on the floor where no one looking through the window could see them.
"I'll get the lights." Claudia says and rushes to turn off all the lights in the house on the first floor cause those were on. It was only the stairs light and the kitchen light but still.

Talia turns the tv off and hits the deck. Thomas walks out and speaks loudly
"Hey guys!"Thomas basically shouts
Everyone turns to him to shush him, Warrior successfully hitting him with a pillow.
"Did you invite anyone over?" Claudia asked
"No, why? " Thomas asked as the  doorbell rang again
"Oh shit." He whispers and hits the deck and goes on the floor with everyone else
The doorbell continues to ring, Claudia and everyone forgetting their wolves of some sort grabs one of her dads baseball bats that are hidden the door bell rings again
"I'm going in." Claudia says
"No, it's not worth it." Tara whispers out
"I gotta, and as the alpha, it should be me." Claudia says, stating her dominance and leaving no room for argument.

So Claudia grabs one of her moms hidden bats and tosses another one to Talia, who is in front of the triplets and Tara to protect them more. Warrior has a pocket knife she carries around open and out, ready to strike if need be. Then Claudia goes and pecks through the window and sees Thomas's friend Nick. She looks over at her little brother with the I'm gonna kill you pissed off, look on her face. She opens the door
"Hey Nick." She says through a forced smile

Thomas gets up from the floor and sheepishly walks over to his sister.
"I forgot he was coming over." Thomas says shrugging
Everyone glares at him and gets off the floor Warrior grabs another pillow and chucks it at his head and hits her target.
"Why does your sister have a baseball bat?" Nick asked
"I was about to play baseball." She says
Nick just shrugs
"Where are your siblings by the way. Uncle Danny said they couldvisitt soon?" Tara asked
"They were busy today maybe some other time." Nick says shrugging
Warrior, Thomas, and Nick head up to Thomas's room to play video games where everyone else restarts the movie.

"So are we getting him in trouble when the parentals come home?" Alison asked
"Get who in trouble?" Derek asked walking through the Door. "Also why are there pillows on the floor?" Derek asked
"Well we thought we had a code red because someone was knocking onthe door,  and we weren't expecting anyone. I asked everyone and we all said no. then we all agreed the parentels didn't say anything." Talia says
"If it was a real intruder, they probably wouldn't have knocked." Derek says
"All that matters is that we were safe and did all procations. I peaked in the window after grabbing a bat. Tossed the other one to Talia to protect the Littles, Warrior knifed up." Claudia says
"So you all forgot you have claws?" Derek questioned
"That is unimportant. We were all prepared and were ready to attack." Talia said

"That still doesn't answer your Dad's question, though?" Boyd said, making his presence known
"Daddy!" Kimmy exclaimed excitedly, going to hug him. Boyd hugs her back.
"Thomas forgot to tell us Nick was coming over." Claudia said
"Yeah, it was a last-minute thing. Danny needed a babysitter." Derek says
"Yeah, so it was an accident." Alison says
"He is not gonna get in trouble. Sorry to disappoint." Derek says
"Figured." Talia says

That's all for now. Just expect a whole load of updates either at the end of July or mid-August, and then that's the end of part B. So the next couple of chapters will talk about foster homes and adoption. However, I am no expert and don't claim to be one, although I have had two friends who were adopted. One was lucky not to be in foster care and got adopted by relatives and another wasn't so lucky and informed me about alot of their past foster homes and more on the experience they had. Like I said I'm not an expert and don't claim to be. So if anything is wrong and you know just let me know. Also foster care despite what I thought is very diffrent in all states. So if it doesn't fit for California foster/adoption system I apologise. I only know about Missouri and Florida's foster system.
