(Noah is in 8th grade.THE TWINS, Ali, and Carly are in 7th grade right now. Thomas, Warrior, and Lia  are in  6th. Tara is 7 now and in 2nd and the triplets are 6 years old and in first grade. Ashley is 5 years old in kindergarten. Myra is 4. And Charles is 2. Katana 7 months?)

Stiles is on an FBI mission and then he gets shot. This is Stiles boss who last name is Valentine calling to tell Derek Stiles was shot while Derek is in his office working when his phone rings.
-Phone Call-
Derek:Hello
Valentine:Hello is this Derek Hale?
Derek:Yes why?
Valentine: This is Jared Valentine I was calling to inform you that your husband Stiles was shot while trying to stop a criminal today. There is a jet waiting at the airport to take you to the hospital to see him. He is in surgery right now. I am so sorry sir.
Derek: Thank you sir let me just get my kids out of school and while be straight down there.
-End of Phone Call-

"Boyd your in charge until I get back. Stiles was just shot. Look after everyone at the house and I will give updates. Can you call the school while I drive to get the kids and grab a to go bag from the house?" Derek asked
"Yes Sir. I love you dad." Boyd says
"I love you too. Now I really gotta go." Derek says grabbing the keys to the camero and driving to the school. He walks to the front office.
"May I help you?" The receptionist asked
"Yes, you probably received a call from my son Boyd about taking Talia, Claudia, and Thomas Stilinski-Hale out of classes for a little bit for a family emergency?" Derek questioned franticly
"I did they should be packing up now. I'll inform their teachers you are here now." The receptionist says
"Thank you." Derek says, standing against the wall and tapping his foot nervously. He can't lose Stiles he just can't. He won't lose Stiles. The kids get to the front office.
"Dad, what's wrong?"  Talia asked
"Your mom is in the hospital he was shot trying to get a person. He is in surgery right now. I have no further information. The jet is going to take us there quickly. I have your bags in the car. And before I get the question, I don't know how he is. Now everybody to the car." Derek states, knowing his kids.
Talia called shotgun, and the other two sat in the back. They get to the airport. The kids all had diffrent thoughts going through their heads. Claudia the optimist was saying he has gotta be okay. Their mom is okay. Thomas is thinking he okay right and nothing can happen. She also knew she needed to be strong for her siblings and dad they need her right now. Thomas was doing something diffrent thinking about what was the last thing I said to him was? Was it good or bad but for the life of him he can't remember and the fact they got into a fight before he left for this case. He just hopes his mom knows he loves him deep down. And Talia was the worst of all coming up with what it's and oh wells. What if he doesn't make it, that means we will eventually have a new parent maybe that one chick that their dad toured around the world with that makes her mom mad. Her dad will be heartbroken so will her siblings and family. If he is dead who get to plan the funeral? Will his body be shipped to Becon Hills? Will he get cremated or buried? The worst things anyone can think in this situation.

They finally arrived at the airport and boarded the jet. Derek is a mess and hugging Talia and Thomas to his chest right now because Thomas is crying his heart out, and Talia was just unresponsive. Claudia is sitting on her own, trying to be productive and take her mind off things because she needs to be strong for them.
Finally, they arrived at the destination and got a car to take them to the hospital. All the kids now have their colored hoodies own that smell like Stiles for when they miss him when he is gone. It's comforting to the two wolfs plus the one witch in training. Claudia is holding Talia and Thomas's hand while their dad talks to Mr. Valentine about their mom's condition. They got the update that Stiles was out of surgery and was unconscious right now but should be awake soon and that the surgery went well with the bullet going straight through Stiles's shoulder just barely missing his heart. Mr. Valentine informed Derek that Stiles's partner Mr. Andino  was in their visiting him. Derek thanks him and relays the news to the kid which calms them down a bit Thomas is asleep on Claudia's shoulder because he was just emotionally drained and Talia gave a sigh of relief to that but still held her sisters hand for comfort.
"I knew everything would be okay." She says
"It could've not been the bullet just barley missed his heart." Talia asked being confussed on how her sister hasn't really done anything since they found out he was shot besides comfort everyone else and be cheerful for them. Did Claudia not care about their mom? Despite Talia knowing this wasn't true that though keep floating in her head and it made her angry as her line of emotions have been amplified.
