"Papa!" I squealed happily running into my fathers arms. He scooped me up and hugged me tight. My siblings ran over and hugged him as well, crushing me in the middle of a group hug. "Can not breathe." I gasp. We all let go and my father kissed my mother. I looked at Ingeras and he pretended to gag. I laughed as dad turned around. "I missed you." I say softly. "I missed you to, angel." He smiled down at me.
"Well it is time for bed you four." Mother said. "But we can't sleep, we're to wound up." Ingeras argued, my sisters and I nodded. "Time for bed. I will not say it again." Mom repeated. We all sighed but trudged off to our chambers. "Come on, I'll tuck you in." Papa said. "What do I not get a goodnight?" Mom asked as I began walking for the door. "No, your making me go to to bed." I sassed, Papa chuckled. "Go say goodnight to your mother Elise." He says. I walk over to my mother and she leans down and kissing my cheek. "Goodnight Elise." She spoke "Goodnight mum." I mutter pretending to still be angry.
Father lead me to my chamber and I climbed into my bed and pulled the covers up. "Goodnight angel." Papa spoke, kissing my forehead. "Goodnight Papa. I love you." I say with a small yawn. "I love you too. Sweet dreams." He said and closed the door. I rolled over onto my side and drifted off into sleep.
I woke up later that night from a horrible nightmare, I looked around and sighed the fire was dying, and the candles had gone out. I got up and went to look out my window. The moon was about 3/4 of the way across the sky, which means it was about 3 in the morning. Knowing I wouldn't fall back asleep I tended to the fire and grabbed a book. The bright orange flames roared as I sat by the fire my book in hand. After about an hour I felt my eyes begin to grow heavy so I closed my book and slipped back into bed. I snuggled down into my covers and slipped back into a dreamless sleep, waiting to woken by my mother the moment the sun begins to come up.
