LIYUE HARBOUR.

The great red ribbons scoured across Liyue, lanterns and laughter filled the air. The lantern rite festival was revived after decades of not celebrating it.

"Mister Zhongli!" I heard someone call.

"Mister Zhongli, could you tell us that story about the goddess you've met? The kids around Liyue said it was the best story but I haven't even heard of it!" The child spoke.

I smiled and pat his head as I nodded; him taking this as a sign to sit down across the table I sat in as I sipped on the tea prepared beforehand.

It has been at least 2 decades since your passing. Not one second of it had I not think of you, how could I forget?

How I've missed you, I hope you know that Qiqi has made plenty of friends around Liyue but has been close friends to a foreign red dressed girl from Monstadt. Qiqi has always told me the stories of how you were always like a mother to her.

What a shame, only if this world was perfect, I would have started a family with you.

The children around Liyue seem to love you very much, even if they had not met you before. They now know you as a goddess, my goddess. I've told them about your caring acts and goodwill. It is very unfortunate that you couldn't meet them.

"Woah, that was the best story ever!" The child shouted and clapped.

"I appreciate your remark." I smiled when suddenly the boy looked confused.

"Mister Zhongli, my friends also said they were very pretty, what does she look like?" He asked me.

"Well, I've only shown this to a few children but I guess you deserve to see her." I smiled as I took out an old picture of you.

It was the first time I've shown you my garden, when I carried your soft body on my back up the tall mountains of Liyue.

You looked so angelic; you smiled at the camera as the cherry like petals flew around you and some getting in your hair.

Every flower I look at now made me think of you.

"Wow they are very pretty mister Zhongli!" The boy smiled, "You are her husband right?"

"Yes I am, lucky aren't I?" I smiled

"Very! Thank you so much, I'll go tell my friends now!" The boy exclaimed as he ran off.

It is such a sunny day today, spring season that is. The flowers in our garden started to bloom, the ones in our small cottage as well.

How could I enjoy all of these things without you?

I thought as I sipped on my tea still staring at your photo.

"Excuse me." A lady tapped on my shoulder,

No.

"Do you happen to know which way the Wangshu Inn is? I'm afraid I've lost my way here." They stated,

"I'm (Y/N) by the way, I came all the way from Sznezhnaya." The lady spoke,

Ah, finally.

"Zhongli, nice to meet you." I smiled as I shook your hand.

You've finally come back to me, my dear.

Fate was kind enough to bring you back again and lead you here.

I will never stop until I finally have you eternally.

But for now, I will gladly teach you how to fall in love again.
