The Ipl Match

It was Friday and sona, kriti, aashi were in their rooms, getting ready for the ipl match they had to watch. The match was between rcb and srh.

Aashi yet hadn't met kriti, neither did she know that she was going to be there.

Kriti and Sona went to the stadium, and took their seats....excited as hell! Their seats were behind the rcb dugout.

Aashu was in the family section with Danielle (Ab's wife). She was pretty good in making friends and so, was gelling up with everybody in the team. She was the kids' favourite.

Soon the match started. Rcb players started coming out.....virat and kl  opened and started scoring runs. People were shouting and screaming 'RCB'. This was something new to kriti and sonakshi whereas, aashika was used to it as she went to a few tours with the ict.

Vk was almost about to get out as someone from the srh team almost took a catch. Sonakshi and kriti's heart beats were reaching their ears in those seconds. And as Vk was only at 10 runs, rcb fans were sad for him. But the miracle happened and the catch was dropped. Vk went for a single and two doubles in the next three balls and on the fourth one, again went for a six but alas! This time virat's luck wasn't supporting him as ashish reddy from srh took his catch. There was silence I the stadium. Virat looked disappointed and his gaze went towards Aashi who was smiling with a thumbs up sign. She mouthed a "well played" to him and he went to the dugout.

When vi was going to the dugout, he had no strength to face anybody. Getting out was his biggest fear when it came to cricket. When he and aashi used to talk, he used to say, "you know Aashu, I love to bat. Batt in is something that gives peace to my heart. But when I get out, it breaks my heart. It always happens even when I score a century and get out, or even when I just have 1 run and I get out, I feel as if I failed! I know its just a game. But I just hate getting out."

Aashi knew how to cheer her bro and that smile on her face did that work to vi. While going back to the dugout, his eyes saw someone whom he wished to see. Kriti and Sonakshi. Kriti's eyes also met virat's and she gave him a ile which made his heart race. He had never felt this way, even when it was his first match in the indian team.

He gave her a smile and sat I the dugout. He started focusing on the match, but he couldn't help looking back again and again to catch a glimpse of kriti.

Here, rahul was at 45 and the match was going well, he scored a half century and celebrated it showing his bat in the sky. Everyone was cheer in for him. Vk also had a smile which was stretching from his left to right eye. He was so proud of his Rah. He took a single on the next one. But then, rahul made a mistake, taking a single. He thought he would run, but couldn't. He got out, at 51. When he saw aashika, she did the same to rahul. Showed a thumbs up and a smile played on her lips too. When he reached the dugout, Vk told him that he played very well.

The match ended and everyone was going to their respective dressing rooms. Though srh won the match, rcb players were proud that they played well. Though they were hurt, a satisfactory smile was on their faces.

Rahul saw Sonakshi and kriti talking among themselves. His heart skipped a beat when he heard his name in their conversation. He wanted to know what they were talking about. But being surrounded with all the other players, he dropped the idea.

The day went well. At night, rcb team had organized a team bonding session where kl and vk played table tennis, while aashi was talking to kriti over the phone. She was angry that kriti didn't tell her about her arrival here. Though kriti had already apologized numerous times, aashika wasn't ready to forgive her. But eventually, when they got to know what happened in delhi, they both were surprised on harsh's arrival.
