Rahul's POV:
What do I do? I don't know. Whom do I go to? I don't know. Should I call maa? I don't know. Although I tried calling papa, but he isn't answering. I even called Bhavna, of course even she isn't answering. So many questions and the answer is, I DON'T KNOW. I reached my penthouse, where I don't come so often.
Yes I bought it because I thought that it would be better if maa, papa and me got to live together. But obviously, maa told me that with all the work and relatives being in Mangalore, it would be difficult for them to leave all the stuff there suddenly and shift here. So, I kind of decided to leave this house as it is and decided to stay where I am right now.
No one knew of this place except for Vi and Ro. I loved this place from the bottom of my heart. especially since it had the most breath-taking view. A sea-facing house in Mumbai has been a dream of every individual like me from a small town. So it was very hard for me to accept the fact that I couldn't live here.
The sea kind of calmed my mind and I couldn't help but think that it was not good of me to shout at Harry like that, because I blamed him, but even he was affected. And it wasn't fair to blame him, because even I had said stuff that I shouldn't have.
"Rahul? You there?" Suddenly, a voice caught my attention, but I was too occupied by my thoughts to go down, take a look. After a few minutes, Sonakshi again asked me, I could hear the disappointment in her voice. "Yaar, aise nahi aana chahiye tha tumhe.....you can't just simply leave when all of us were there, discussing about the same situation." Even though she was right, I was angry on this whole interview thing and it had come out on the wrong person, harry at the wrong time.
All I wanted was someone to understand me. Ironic how family is supposed to be with us no matter what, but mine wasn't here. They're probably busy. "Sonakshi, please. Agar idhar tum mujhe lecture dene aayi ho toh I've had enough. I need some space and you clearly don't understand he meaning of the word." I said, almost yelling at the poor soul.
"Listen Rah, I know you've been affected by the shit that is going on right now, par baaki sab bhi utne hi shocked aur preshaan hain. Hardik ne khaana nahi khaya hai, virat bhi sabko cheer up karne mein laga hai and rohit has also been sulking. Aur tum yahan ho" She said almost in the same tone as me.
"Vahi toh baat hai na sona, that is the thing. Virat has been in touch with harry all this while, Ro bhi uske ghar hai, aashika, you, kriti, ritika, and even mahi bhai is there. Did you all think of me? No. I am not jealous or anything before you say that, par sochne waali baat hai na, because troll toh hum dono hue na? Both of us are facing the same thing...phir harry ke paas sab hain, aur mere paas toh meri family bhi nahi hai. But that's okay. Dosen't matter!!" I said taking all the frustration out.
"Main nahi hoon yahan? I am here rahul. All of us are there with you. Tum harry ke ghar kyu aaye the? To have a chat with him right? hum bhi vahan isiliye the. You barged in, all angry and not ready to listen. Mahi bhai ki, virat ki, kisi ki baat nai suni, when aashika tried to intervene, you said we were taking sides....but it would have been alright agar tumne hardik ko waise treat nahi kiya hota. We planned to come to your house as soon as things were okay with hardik. But you being the overthinker came here instead of going there." Said sonakshi.
And stuff suddenly made sense. All the guilt was back. Of not picking up calls, of screaming an yelling, and of everything. I couldn't think of anything so I just hugged sonakshi and god knows what happened, but I started crying.... I mean not that I don't cry, but certainly not like this...speacially not in front of sonakshi.
And after almost half an hour of crying like a baby in her arms, I could finally think straight. Maybe, it was all bottled up. Everything came out at once. I couldn't hold it anymore, but it felt light and nice. "Ab neeche chalein? Sab wait kar rahe hain" She said.
