Name: Delaney Tourmaline
Age: 18
District: One
Gender: Female
Appearance: Delaney looks exactly like her mother. She stands at a strong five feet eight inches tall, with an angled face, hazel eyes, and shapely lips. Her natural hair color is blonde, and when she was young she wore it down in glossy waves. She has a killer figure, which as a citizen of District One she prides herself on maintaining, though constant training for the Games makes that easy. Her hair is bright red now, and it has been for the past six years. She dyed it after watching the footage of the Games in which her mother died. She couldn't stand the embarrassment of looking exactly like her, so she dyed her hair and chopped it
short.((LINK: http://revistaadam.com.br/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Hayley-williams-red-hair-singer.jpg ))
Personality: Delaney is just a barrel full of sunshine and smiles. Please note heavy sarcasm. In all seriousness, she is a determined, no nonsense Career. She doesn't like to smile or brag, even though her confidence level is through the roof and radiates through every aspect of her being. She doesn't usually engage in conversation, but when she does her responses are usually sarcastic and more than a little cruel. Delaney's not a people-person. She lives and breathes the Games and has been waiting for her chance to enter for so long that she never bothered to develop any other interests or even a real personality, as some of her fellow trainees might note. Her brain thinks in strategy; calculating everything and only making choices that she believes will benefit her chance at Victory. She's never dated, or made any strong friendships, both of which she thinks would only hinder her once in the arena. Sentimentality is a burden and distraction.
Best Memory/Worst Memory: Delaney's best memory is the day she began training for the Games, because she found something she was good at and could excel in. Her worst memory is the day she watched the footage of her mother's Games. Her mother was sixteen when Delaney was born, and eighteen when she entered the arena. She failed, and got herself killed not even twenty-four hours into the Games. Upon watching the footage, Delaney hated her mother for her weakness and vowed to be better.
Volunteered
Reason: She's eighteen and this is what she's spent most of her life training for. She wants to succeed where her mother failed.
Weapon of Choice: Naginata. A graceful cross between a sword and a spear. Basically, a sword with more range.
Token: The ring her mother wore in her Games. Delaney wears it as a reminder that she can't fail.
