𝐒𝐖𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐘/𝐍 𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐃 an attack from Tomioka before attempting the attack him. He had easily avoided her attack and was about to hit her on her neck. She wasn't quick enough to avoid the attack and knew she was about to be unconscious.

Suddenly she was met with the sky making her blink having been startled. Sitting up she glanced over to Tomioka who seemed to have been avoiding eye contact.

'He hesitated....again....'

"Tomioka-san are you sure your alright?" Y/n asked as she stood from the ground and hesitantly walked over to Tomioka. She reached out hesitantly and watched as Tomioka looked away from her.

"I'd it because I brought Kaika here, are you still upset?" She asked and Tomioka simply dropped the wooden sword in his hands before turning and walking away. She stood hesitantly reaching out to Tomioka confused as to why he seems so hesitant and distant.

"Is everything okay?" Y/n turned and could see Kaika walking over with wooden sword still hand.

"Everything is completely fine Kaika, just keep training I need to talk to Tomioka-san." She said with a small smile as se gently ruffled Kaika's hair. With that she turned and ran after Tomioka or well the direction he had walked off.

After running around the estate for a bit she found Tomioka sitting on the engawa. Letting out a small sigh she slowed down and walked over to to Tomioka. Sitting down next to Tomioka she glanced at the ground.

"I can see something is wrong Tomioka-san, it's alright to talk to other..." Y/n said as she glanced over to Tomioka hopeing that maybe he would tell her what was wrong.

'Who am I kidding....I'm only his Tsuguko we aren't close in the slightest...'

"I-..." Tomioka looked over to Y/n before faltering and simply standing up.

"....Go train with Kaika...." He simply said before walking off once more. Y/n let out a small sigh before standing up and making her way back over to Kaika.

'He'll open up eventually....'

"I know I'm only seeing you in my dream and I can't really tell if our dreams are connected or not." She said as she sat next to Tomioka while holding his injured hands in the water. Looking up at Tomioka she could see the way he looked down st his hands.

"Please talk to me....tell me what's wrong....I need a sign....that all of this isn't just my imagination..." She mumbled out and Tomioka hesitantly raised his head to look at her.

"...H-How....how about a word we can use....." Tomioka mumbled out and Y/n smiled at this. A code word, why hadn't she thought of it before.

"What would be a word unlikely to be used?" She pondered before thinking of a word only used during her time.

"How about more 'espresso less depresso'." She said with a small laugh only to laugh harder at Tomioka's confused expression.

"Your so cute Tomioka." She laughed before gently kissing Tomioka on the nose.

"We can use the phrase once I get back from my next mission. I think me and my team was supposed to go off with the sound Hashria." She said with a small smile and she could see Tomioka frown.

"I'll be okay, I promised I'll always come back okay." She said as she reach up and gently cupped Tomioka's face while giving him a small smile.

"I'll be back okay...."

𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐓𝐎𝐎 keen on Y/n going on a mission with Uzui as he had already been flirting with her from the beginning. He had recalled somewhere in the banter between everyone offering Y/n to become his fourth wife. That's what had made him make her his Tsuguko in the first place.

But now that she was to go off on a mission with Uzui, the mere thought of it already annoyed him.

Letting out a small sigh he held his head and looked down at the report he had been writing for Ubuyashiki. He didn't want to wait until Y/n return to use the code word from the dream. Even then it might be useless, he's the one who's supposed to say it first. He might just embarrass himself but it's the small hope that all of it was real.

He couldn't simply just follow Y/n like he had been doing the last couple missions she's been going on. Uzui has good hearing he would know he was there instantly. Just this raised his annoyance of the entire situation.

He wouldn't know exactly what Uzui will be doing....

'I could ask Ubuyashiki to go on this mission too seeing as I don't have any missions assigned to me...'

Grabbing another blank paper he also began to write out his request to join Uzui on his mission. It would be annoying to be paired with Uzui but it would have to do.

'Anything for her...'

"Excuse me Tomioka-san?" Perking up he glanced behind him and watched the shoji doors slowly slide open to show Y/n.

"I made some food...." She mumbled out and Tomioka gave a small nod and watched her leave whole sliding the door shut once more. Getting up he made his way out of the room. He followed behind Y/n who probably hadn't noticed him.

"Oh Tomioka-san if it's alright I made simmered salmon with daikon." Y/n said as she looked over her shoulder and at Tomioka who falter a bit.

'Took forever to figure out how to make but I did it!'

Y/n gave Tomioka a small smile before continuing to the room where the food had been set. Getting to the room she sat down with Kaika who was patiently waiting for the two of them.

'I'll have to make it up to Kaika for having to be the taste tester for all of my failures.'

Y/n thought with a small nervous smile.

Tomioka on the other hand sat silently in shock albeit not shown, he was startled that Y/n had made his favorite food. He shook this thought of as it must have only just been a coincidence.

'It's just a coincidence....right...?'
