𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐃 with excitement as she never thought she'd get to go on a mission with her group again. Sure she had been going on missions alone here and there but she was getting a feel for her group. It was somewhat nice and reminded her of her friends back at home.

Humming happily she finished getting her clothes on and she glanced over to her phone that was currently rining. Picking up her phone she realized that it was Nicole and picked up her phone. Putting her phone to her ear she heard her friends on the other side of the phone greet her.

"Y/n, we're glad your doing good and that your alive!" Y/n let out a small laugh before glancing over to her W/C that was lying on the table near by.

*W/C = Weapon Choice*

"Yeah I'm glad I'm alive too, how are you guys doing without me?" Y/n asked with a small chuckle at the thought of her not being there to break up the fights in-between Isabel and Blake.

"We're doing fine, we can see you often due to the glitch in the seasons. Other than that we sorta just miss you and I have to break up the fights between Isabel and Blake." Y/n secured her W/C before averting her attention back onto the call with her friends.

"I miss you guys too, things have been so hard having to train everyday." Y/n huffed out earning a laugh from her friends making her smile. Truly she missed her friends and hopefully she'd be able to see them again.

"Ah well have fun on your mission!" She could hear Isabel shout into the phone.

"Alright I will." Y/n said and was about the hang up until she heard Blake's hurried voice.

"Oh wait Y/n there's something you need to know your dr-"

"Y/n come on we have to go!" Kaika shouted out gaining Y/n's attention.

"Oh uh sorry Blake your gonna have to tell me latter I gotta go." She said before quickly hanging up and putting her phone down on the table near by. With that she rushed out the room and down the hall.

"I'm ready!" Y/n said giving Kaika and Tomioka a bright smile. She only received a nod from Tomioka who turned and began to walk away.

"I'm so excited, we'll finally be going on a mission all together!" Kaika happily said and Y/n let out a small laugh while ruffling Kaika's hair.

'First mission with a Hashira, now all I gotta do is not die.'

𝐘/𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐒 Taīshi threw Kaika in the air before catching her. When I had arrived she was quick to introduce Kaika to her group. Of course Taīshi had to be extra in his greeting like always. That and he wouldn't stop fawning over how adorable Kaika was. On the bright side it seemed like Kaika was having fun being thrown in the air.

"Alright let us head out!" Uzui shouted out then turned and was quick to head off. Y/n huffed and grabbed Taīshi by the back of his uniform.

"Let's go idiot or we'll be left behind, you too Izaki and Hikaru!" Y/n shouted out to her other teammates as she dragged Taīshi off despite his complaints. Tomioka followed after everyone watching as Y/n bickered with her team. Kaika happily traveled next to Tomioka content with the silence between them two. Kaika faltered and looked over to Tomioka as she felt something a bit off.

"Tomioka-san are you alright, you seem to be upset?" Kaika asked seeming to gain Tomioka's attention from the ground.

"Kaika could be our child, play a little family~" Taīshi said and Y/n let out a small laugh while shaking her head.

"You'd be a terrible dad, your memory is so ass you'd probably forget your watching the child." Y/n laughed out and Taīshi let out a huff while crossing his arms.

"I would not, I'd cherish any child we'd have." Taīshi said and Y/n simply rolled her eyes while letting out a small mumble of 'dramatic' out.

"Yeah right, whenever you fight a demon you just have to finish them in a dramatic way." Y/n said while smirking and Taīshi simply looked away from her.

"Hey its not always."

"No I agree with Y/n here, you always have to kill any demons we fight in a 'cool' fashion." Izaki said while using his fingers for quotations. Taīshi let out an offende gasp while holding his chest.

"Izaki, you dare betray me!" Taīshi let out and Izaki simply rolled his eyes before pushing Taīshi to the ground.

"Yes very dramatic." Izaki said as he continued after the rest of his group and the Sound Hashira.

"Come on now guys, let's not bash on Taīshi, being dramatic once and a while is quite fun!" Hikaru insisted while letting a light laugh.

"Yeah whatever you say." Y/n said and Taīshi was quick to catch up to the group.

"You guys are so mean."

Tomioka watched the group before looking over to Kaika who still looked at him with concern.

"Nothing is wrong, you should move up with the others. I'll cover the back." Tomioka simply said as he looked forward once more. He could hear Kaika huff as she puffed up her cheeks.

"Then you'd be left back here by yourself, I'll stay back here with you!" Kaika insisted and Tomioka didn't object making Kaika smile brightly. Kaika looked ahead and at Y/n who happily laughed with her original team. It also seemed like the Sound Hashira joined in on their conversation.

"You know Y/n really cares about you, she spent so long trying to perfect your favorite food just to see you smile." Kaika said as she couldn't help but to smile back at the memories she had gotten. Y/n had attempted many times to get it just perfect. Despite Kaika unfortunately having to be the taste tester she had fun helping Y/n.

"Thank you for letting me stay with you and train under your guidance." Tomioka blinked before looking over to Kaika who gave him a soft smile.

"It feels like I have a family again being with you two, I honestly see you guys like parents." Kaika said before tilting her head and giving Tomioka a closed eyes smile. Tomioka faltered a bit before giving a small nod and looking ahead. When Kaika opened her eyes she didn't miss the small smile Tomioka had on his face.

'Like parents....'
