𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐀 sigh she sat up before glancing around the dark void of a space. There she could see Tomioka sitting not too far from her, making her smile happily. Getting up she walked over to Tomioka before sitting down next to him.

"Hey." She simply said not sure what to say as there was nothing to talk about. Or well besides the fact that she was about to be sent off on a mission with random people.  Tomioka glanced over to her and she looked over him to make sure he was okay. This time he was fine or well besides the cut on his cheek.

"You came back alive...."

"I said I would." She said with a small smile. It grew quiet between the two and Y/n turned to face Tomioka. Reaching up she gently cupped Tomioka's face with her hand making him glance down at her.

"I'll always come back okay." She said before giving Tomioka a small kiss. With that she slowly leaned Tomioka into the water so that she could fix the cut on his cheek.

"I'll come back from this mission and any other mission I get." She hummed out as she looked down at Tomioka.

"I'll always come back to you because I love you." She watched Tomioka's eyes widened and his lips slightly part in shock making her laugh lightly.

"You can be so adorable." Y/n laughed before leaning down to kiss Tomioka, letting her eyes flutter shut.

She grunted in pain as she fell to the ground having been flipped over once more. Sitting up she shook her head before glancing over to Tomioka. She'd need to focus, if she ever wanted to at least land a hit on Tomioka she'd need to go 'try hard mode' as gamers say.

'Try hard mode activated!'

She nearly laughed at what she shouted in her head but simply stood from the ground. Getting into her stance she waited for Tomioka to come towards her. Soon enough he came towards her and when he got closer she was swift in dodging his attack. Jumping back a bit she swung at Tomioka and had nearly hit him.

He managed to avoid her attack and was about to hit her in the neck. Blinking she realized that she looked up at the sun now.

'Did he just hesitate to hit my neck? It wouldn't have done much but knock me out, there was no reason to avoid my neck? Well actually I mean yay no pain in my neck but he never hesitates.'

Sitting up she glanced over to Tomioka who was walking away from her after dropping the wooden sword he had. Getting up she ran to catch up with Tomioka.

"Tomioka-san are you alright?" She asked and she hasn't really gotten a response as he turned his head away from her.

She didn't quite understand.

"Go get in your uniform, you have a mission to get to....." He simply said before he was suddenly gone.

"....Well then...."

𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎 way in hell she wanted to be in this group but it seemed like this was happening. She had been assigned with a random group for her first mission. Oyakata-sama said it was 'to see how good she was with groups'.

'Why was I paired with a group of fucking guys, I'm not trying to make a god damn harem. No calm down Y/n they didn't try nothing and there is no way in hell I'll ever be in this group again.......why does life treat me like this.'

She couldn't help but to complain in her mind about her current circumstances. Grumbling lowly she trailed behind the group not wanting to be near them. Her want to socialize died the moment she got flipped over this morning. Y/n had no intent on chatting with the other Demon Slayers with her.

'I'm probably going to die anyway, I'm not a main character and this anime is graphic as fuck.'

Perking up she could see something making her squint to try and see what was in the distance. Her eyes widened and she swiftly ran forward and tackled her temporary teammates. Silver like thorn lodged into the ground where they all used to stand. Getting up from the ground she could hear chuckling.

"Some little bugs wondered into my domain, how unfortunate for you~" Y/n glanced up and could see a demon resting on a tree. This demon reminded her of an Upper Moon she'd seen in the manga.

'What is this, an off brand Daki?'

Swiftly she drew her sword and got in a stance with her other teammates following suit.

'This is about to be a bloody and shity fight, I refuse to die to a whole off brand Daki.'

Letting out a tired sigh she fell back now leaning on a tree before sliding to the ground. She was tired and sore as hell and honestly just wanted to go to sleep. Her haori had gotten cut up much to her dismay so she'd need to get it fixed. Sighing she closed her eyes but opened them once more hearing someone sit next next her.

Glancing over to who sat next to her she realized it was Taīshi one of her other teammates. She had recalled one of the others saying his name. Which also made her aware of the fact that the group stuck together.

"That was really cool and really hot." Taīshi simply said while giving her a thumbs up. Y/n blinked for a moment before realizing that Taīshi had just called her hot.

"Did you just call me hot?"

"Yeah, if I said you weren't I'd be lying. I mean anyone who thinks you aren't hot would be absolutely blind." Taīshi said while holding his chen and smirking, he was also nodding his head. She could only deadpan at the others boldness.

'Hot, yeah right and your an idiot, my heart belongs to the depressed water I live with.'

Faltering she lightly snorted before she began to lightly laugh at the nickname she had given Tomioka.

"What's so funny."

"Just thinking about how stupid you are." She simply snickered earning an offended gasp from the other. Soon enough they both were laughing and she couldn't help but to think.

'Okay maybe this isn't that bad.'
