"Lavender your mother died this morning" he says softly
And at that very second the entire world stopped my body stopped everything just stopped and I was numb I have no one my mother is dead my twin sister is dead my father isnt even a father I'm completely alone at that moment I wanted everything to just stop why does this always happen to me every birthday everyone's always so happy when is it lavenders turn to be happy
looking at him emotionlessly he says "lavender the school is here for you we understand if you need to take a break the funeral date and time will be emailed to you your an adult now so also lavender here your mother left you a letter"
I look down at the letter with tears threatening to fall down my face pour down my face but I don't let them
taking the letter I say "may I go"
He nods I stand up and walk back into first period I'm numb I wanna cry I wanna scream I want my mom back I didn't even get a chance to tell her how much I loved her I didn't say goodbye.
I seat back at my seat I can feel all there burning gazes on me I just zone out
the bell rings for lunch time leaving no time I get up and walk out I feel someone tap my shoulder Turning around I see them all staring at me with worried faces
"What?" I say coldly
"Lavender what happened are you okay" they all ask at once I can't tell them I don't need there pity or condolences I can handle this on my own just like I handled her death on my own
I shrug and say "nothing my dad sent me a letter that's it"
"I'm not feeling well I'm gonna skip the rest of class" I say
"Okay do you need one of us to stay with you" Lijah says
"I'm fine" I say I'm not sure who I'm trying to convince
