Chapter twenty two

tapping my fingers on the steering wheel and humming the lyrics to the song after Dante and I left dante went to do something for his father and I had to the store

Before the song could continue my phone starts ringing it's Lijah what does he want now

pausing the song and sighing I answer "yes Lijah?" I say

"hey bestiee" I could hear the grin on his face which made a small smile pull onto mine

"your out right now right?" He says

"yep why?" I ask

"can you bring cookies home?" He says sheepishly

with a small chuckle I say "sure anything else?"

"no thank you wait also where'd you and Dante go after the funeral you were out for a while?" he says making me tense

i play it cool and say "your breaking up bro I can't hear you" with that I hang up

unpausing my song I hum the lyrics

locking my car doors and walking into the store I turn into the makeup isle I originally came here for mascara but now cookies too I grab the one I need

walking to the isle I see a group of boys I guess they heard my footsteps they all turn around and stare at me I just continue walking this is awkward

they all start talking to eachother in hushed whispers I grab the cookies I need and go to continue walking before I could I feel a tap on my shoulder I turn around and see one of them sheepishly smiling at me and rocking on their heels I just raise my eyebrow at him

"could I maybe get your number?" He asks sheepishly

i shrug and say "sure"

i grab his phone and put my number in

new friends

I walk into my dorm and see them all sitting on the couch I grin and wave Lijah jumps up and snatches the bag and gets his cookies then gives me a giant bear hug

"thank youuu" he sings

"yeah yeah" I mumble I walk over to sit with them I sit on the end of the couch I feel Dante fucking staring holes into my head I turn my head and lock eyes with him he stares into my eyes before his eyes travel down to my lips I clear my throat and look away

the rest of them give me suspicious glances I turn back to see dante smirking at me

i roll my eyes "welp I'm gonna head to bed" I announce

"night lav" they mumble

i go into my room and belly flop onto my bed I hear my door open and I quickly sit up I see dante leaning in the doorway I raise my eyebrow and he walks over to me and places a soft kiss to the corner of my lips before saying "goodnight love"

he turns back to look at my flabbergasted state and walks out with a chuckle

i hear my alarm go off I groggily stop it fuck school bro

i get up and dressed

Good enough I want a kitten I wonder if we're allowed to have pets I should go to the office and ask before first period okay I'm gonna go now

i knock on the door and see the head administrator principal guy sitting at his desk

"ah lavender what may I do for you?" He says

i turn to him with a small smile and say "I really want a kitten are we allowed pets?" I ask hopefully

he smiles and says "as long as your roommate isn't allergic and your roommate agrees I see no problem"

grinning I say "okay thank you so much"

he gives me a small and I walk out I'll ask Dante after school
