Chapter twenty six

"have you guys said the L word yet?" Ace asks stuffing his face with pizza like an animal as lav is sleeping with her head on my lap adorable

"no" I say running my fingers through her hair

"man up you pussy" Eli says with an eye roll

"what's up with the mafia?" ace asks everyone now turning serious

"same old in three months I'll run the American fucking mafia" I say with a long sigh I mean yeah I would never trade places I love the mafia world I love the whole killing thing I love everything it's when the people I love get hurt that makes me wish i had a normal life sometimes

"Oh yeah have you gotten your final mission yet?" Lijah asks

"Yeah I just got the details today" I say

"what is it" eli asks

before I could tell them I feel lav start to shuffle around

"Dante fuck off and cover me with a blanket" she grumbles

i grab a blanket and she nuzzles her head into my chest

they all raise there eyebrows

"my mission is to kill the leader of the Russian mafia my father wants revenge for what he did" I say with disgust

"Dante you realize how serious this is right that man is no fucking joke be careful we still have time to train and shit" ace says

"yeah I'm gonna go to sleep though" I say with a yawn we say our good nights and pick lav up she punches me in my chest damn for a tiny woman she punches hard as shit

"pick me up you peasant carry me to the kitchen" I say

Dante glares and picks me up what a loser

we go to the kitchen to see Lijah feeding Milo milk with a straw well trying to anyways

"what the fuck?" I ask

"Lav I have to go with ace and Eli I promise I'll be back in time to watch a movie with you and Milo tho" Dante says

"okay bring back chick fil a" I say before kissing his head he gives me a rushed peck on the lips before walking out

"sorry lav I have to go to are you gonna be okay by your self?" Lijah asks oh

I smile and say "yeah yeah of course"

"okay bye bye" he says

"guess it's just you and me Milo" I mumble

it's 3 in the morning I'm half awake I've been waiting for Dante to come back for our movie I can't even be mad he has his own life he's a busy man I'm being selfish

i feel horrible i got so caught up training and meeting i got her chick fil a hopefully she'll forgive me

I walk in on her and Milo sleeping my beautiful girl

i walk over to her and she starts shuffling around

"Dante?" She murmurs

"yes my love" i say back

"you never came back for our movie" she says softly fuck

"I'm sorry lav I got so caught up I got you chick fil a though it won't happen again love" i say

"it better not bozo" she mumbles before cuddling into my chest and tangling her legs into mine

"Dante we have to go to target bro" Lav says

"I have my keys now let's go you barn animals" she says to us all

"Guys guys look" she calls out to us

"Not you dante the rest of you" she says

She points down to our converse

"Awwww" Lijah says

he then drapes his arm over Eli and aces shoulders

"Guys I think we should also get matching shoes" he says with a grin

"Fuck off you giant Chihuahua" ace grumbles

"What ace said" Eli says

"let's speed it up guys" Lav says

"what are we here for anyways" I ask
