"Be there. This all ends today."
Yuto said as he dropped the call. Unconsciously, he was holding on to the phone too tightly that his knuckles were turning white. He didn't feel the pain, nor did he feel the door open behind him. All he knew is that he was determined to finish everything today.
"It's now or never."
Yuto has always been the good guy--or he always tried to be the good guy rather. He gave way in everything, for everyone. Especially for Mirai, his best friend and the one he loves the most. He's ready to throw away his riches, his family, and even his life. All for her. All for love for her.
He stared at the picture frame on his desk, it was of him and Mirai when they were still kids and he can clearly see the huge smiles on their faces.
If only we can go back to those peaceful times, Mii...
He thought before leaving his office and heading to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. Yes, he claimed that this would all end today. But he knew one wrong move will jeopardize all his plans. And he also knew that if he wouldn't arrive then it will all be for nothing.
I swear I'll make you happy, Mii. I will make you happy.
That was his thoughts before driving to the hotel, where Mirai was waiting and was getting dressed for their wedding.

"Yuto's still not here?" Mirai asked Suzuka who was busy dialing Yuto's number.
There were only less than two hours left before the wedding started and Yuto is still nowhere to be found. She tried dialing again while trying to calm Mirai down, but the call was still unattended.
"Just try to get ready on your own first, Mirai. I'll try to locate him and check for the other stuff for the wedding. Don't worry and just go get dressed. Your makeup isn't even done yet.
Mirai then nodded toward Suzuka and went back to the room where she was getting fixed for the ceremony.
When she was then sitting on the chair with all the makeup artists around her, Mirai couldn't help but feel scared about what could happen. She was still unsure if she can face Yuto's father after everything that happened. And she still doesn't know if she can face everyone when all this is finished.
She and Yuto left Japan in a hurry two years ago. Even her father and sister didn't know about their plans. She knew none of them will go through it if they knew who the mastermind of the fake accident and her kidnapping is. Instead of going with the plan, they'll leave it all in the hands of the police, but they fail to see that most of the police are handled by Yuto's father as well.
I pray that all this will end today.
That was Mirai's silent mantra for the day. If all their plans get done then she'll be free to go back to the life she had. Yuto's father will pay for his crimes. And all of them will be free from fear of him.
It was scary. It was painful. But it will all be worth it. She knew she needed to be strong for all this to end. All for love, her love for herself, for her family, for her friends, and for him, she's willing to risk everything.
I'll be happy. After this, I'll search for my happiness.

Ryosuke was left staring at the paper in his hands. He just got off a call and he doesn't even know how to react, what to think of, and most especially what to do.
It was an invitation to Yuto and Mirai's wedding and right now all he wanted was to shred it into bits. What was he supposed to do, right?
Will you finally be happy?
