Thrall and the other Horde leaders enter the main fortress of Orgrimmar. Upon entering the central chamber, Thrall is met by Jaina who had waited for his arrival. The other Horde leaders had treated Jaina as a well-respected guest while she waited for Thrall. Despite their previous conflicts against Admiral Proudmoore, the father of Jaina; the Horde has remained in peace with the Alliance forces in Theramore as Thrall maintained his good friendship with Jaina. Upon seeing the young sorceress once more, the warchief greets her as his old friend, and asks for the reason of her surprise coming.
Jaina: "Hello, Thrall! You have finally returned! Drek'Thar told me about your problems with the naga. Those serpents are quite troublesome indeed. It is good to know you had won in your battle."
Thrall: "Jaina! It is a pleasant surprise to see you again. I never thought I would see you visit here. I am glad to have maintained our pact and friendship despite what happened regarding your father."
Jaina: "I am glad as well, Thrall. Though at times, I still wish my father would have listened to me back then, we can no longer change the past. Anyway, there is a different reason why I have come."
Thrall: "Yes. You would have not come if it is not important. What information do you bring us?"
Jaina: "Alright, I will not waste any time. I have recently returned from the kingdom of Stormwind because their king and my friend, Varian Wrynn, called me for an urgent meeting. The Dark Portal, the same gate where your people have come from, had been recently reopened once more, Thrall!"
Thrall: "What?! The Dark Portal has been reopened?!"
Varok: "The Dark Portal that led us to this world coming from our own original world of Draenor!"
Dharl: "The same portal that was first opened by Gul'dan and Medivh a long time ago! But how?!"
Drek'Thar: "Yes, how is it possible? The gate has been sealed from Draenor many long years ago."
Thrall: "How did it happened, Jaina?! How the Dark Portal did got reopened after all these years?!"
Jaina: "I am not certain, Thrall, but the mages from Stormwind believe it to be the work of demons. The Alliance forces from Nethergarde have witnessed how the Dark Portal got reopened, and they sensed demonic energies permeating on the gate, at the time it was reopening. There are no demons residing there during that time so the mages believed that it has been reopened from the other side."
Varok: "On the other side? From Draenor? Impossible! Our entire home planet is destroyed. It has been shattered to pieces long ago. We doubt anyone or anything had ever survived its destruction."
Jaina: "Perhaps, but that does not change the fact that the Dark Portal is open once again, and with the demons possibly being involved, we fear of another demonic invasion might occur once again. The Alliance forces in Stormwind dare not to step foot through the portal due to the uncertainty of what lies upon the other side, but regardless of the place beyond the gate, whether it be your former home world or not, one thing is certain, this is yet another grave problem for all of us in this world."
Thrall: "Yes, I do agree with you, Jaina. Together, we have faced some of the worst foes, of which, are terrible and powerful demons. We have seen the demonic armies being summoned to this world from the hellish nether by any means of their dark magic, and I would not be surprised if the Legion somehow found a way to use the Great Portal to return once again coming from their unholy realm. Damn! This does not bode well to all of us! I thought we had finally driven them out of this world!"
Eitrigg: "It seems that this world is set upon yet another massive demonic invasion, only this time, they could invade through the Dark Portal just as when they corrupted our race and had us do it as their pawns of war. It seems history is about to repeat itself as it reflects upon our past dark crimes."
Jaina: "Which brings me to my main reason of coming here. I have spoken with Varian, and I told him that the Horde might help us in defending this world in case the demons emerge from the Dark Portal. As for now, nothing has come out of it, but the Stormwind forces are keeping a close watch on the gate. However, I am worried they will not be enough in case of a demonic invasion, Thrall."
Thrall: "I understand your concern, Jaina. As your friend, I would gladly aid you especially for the fate of this world, but there is little we can do to help your brethren back on the eastern lands across the sea. Know that I had led my brethren away from Lordaeron to find ourselves a new home here, and to finally escape from the years of conflicts that our races have with each other. You may trust me and my people in aiding you, but it is not the same for your countrymen back in the east, Jaina."
Jaina: "Which is why I would humbly ask that you come with me to Stormwind, Thrall, for you to meet and speak with Varian, as well as the dwarven king, Magni Bronzebeard. I spoke of you with them, and they gave a chance to let me bring you to them to talk about possible cooperation against the potential demonic threat from the Dark Portal. They gave it a chance to speak with you, Thrall."
Dranosh: "What?! You plan to bring our own warchief to the Stormwind kingdom across the sea?!"
Thrall: "Hold, Dranosh. Let me handle this. I trust in the words of Jaina as much as she trust us as well. She came to us for a good reason. She requires our help upon a new possible demonic threat."
Varok: "Thrall is right, son. With the Great Portal having been suddenly reopened once more, there is definitely a huge looming threat at play here. The Horde must be prepared against it at all times."
Thrall: "I am considering your proposal, Jaina, but I must admit, I am skeptical to go on a kingdom that has been the enemy of my kind for many years in the past. It is not a simple thing to do, Jaina."
Jaina: "I understand, Thrall, but do not worry, I promise that nothing will happen to you. You have my word. You only need to speak with the other leaders of a potential joint force agreement against any threat from the Dark Portal. This would be like the first time we allied with one another, Thrall, and you do know as well as I do that things were not easy for the two of us as well at the beginning."
Thrall: "I know, Jaina. That is the reason why I am considering this. For the sake of the fate of this world, and the safety of our new realm here that we long fought for to claim. I shall consider going with you to Stormwind, and meet with your other brethren to hopefully plan a proper action on the Dark Portal. However, this would take us some time, Jaina. It shall take us weeks to sail across the Great Sea and reach the eastern kingdoms. The voyage alone will consume a lot of our time, Jaina."
Jaina: "Not a problem, Thrall. I have created a new portal spell that allows me and few other people to go to places as far as the other side of the world without the need of a long voyage. Though this spell requires a lot of my energies, we should be teleported to Stormwind within just few minutes."
Thrall: "Your own portal spell that easily brings you to places even across the seas?! You truly are an amazing sorceress, Jaina. Very well, it is settled then. I shall come along with you to Stormwind, and meet with your other brethren to talk about the Dark Portal. I have just returned here from our war against the naga, and now I am about to leave my homeland once again and return on the lands that we have left behind long ago. No matter, as the Warchief, I shall do this for my people and to protect Durotar. I will only need to make some preparations first before I leave Orgrimmar, Jaina."
Jaina: "Of course, Thrall. Do everything that you must to your homeland. I will be waiting for you on Theramore. My spell is bounded from my own city. From there, I can teleport us to Stormwind."
Thrall: "Very well, Jaina. I will meet you again on Theramore as soon as I can. Goodbye, for now."
Jaina: "Alright, Thrall. Thank you for all your consideration, and hospitality for letting me in here."
At that moment, Jaina Proudmoore casts her usual teleportation spell to instantly return to her own city of Theramore. Having heard about the unexpected news of the sudden recent reopening of the Dark Portal, Thrall and the other orc leaders discuss of what the Horde should do in case of another demonic invasion occur, and how they will once again defend their new homeland of Durotar. The senior orc advisors also gave Thrall some of their wise reminders and suggestions on speaking and negotiating with the Alliance rulers across the sea. With his plan of leaving his new homeland for a time, Thrall also gives his instructions to the other orc leaders on overseeing the safety of Durotar.
