WARCRAFT IV -- CHAPTER 2 - United under One Banner (Horde Campaign)

The Armies of Destruction

Four days later, on the region of the outskirts of the Black Citadel, Thrall and Dranosh set up their new camp upon a site that used to be a draenei settlement in the area. Upon creating a new base in the region, Thrall and Dranosh ready themselves to battle against the large forces of the Legion all around the areas. As the forces of the Horde prepare for an upcoming massive war battle, the night elven warriors led by Malfurion and Mordent suddenly arrive upon the region. Thrall and Dranosh are pleased on seeing the unexpected coming of their night elven allies. Having recently conquered the swampland region of Zangarmarsh, the night elven forces had come to join alongside the Horde in battling the demons and fel orcs around the outskirts of the Black Citadel. The night elves settle themselves upon a site that used to be the former camp of Illidan when he sealed all the dimensional gateways around the region. Malfurion and Mordent approach, and speak with Thrall and Dranosh about their quest on Outland, with the demon hunter Altruis having recently killed in Zangarmarsh.

Thrall: "Our forces are all accounted for. Soon, we shall move against the demonic bases upon this region. Hopefully our planned attacks would be effective enough for us to defeat all our foes here."

Dranosh: "This shall be a glorious worthy battle, Warchief! Though the demons and fel orcs largely outnumber our forces, the proud warriors of the Horde are all prepared to fight by your command!"

Thrall: "Wait, Dranosh! Look! It is Master Stormrage! The night elves have come! They are here!"

Malfurion: "Ah, greetings, young Thrall! I thought that we might find you and your warriors here."

Thrall: "Master Stormrage! You have come! Once again, you have all made a very timely arrival!"

Malfurion: "We heard about your dire quest upon this region from the old shaman, Drek'Thar, and so we decided to come here, and aid you battle against the vast forces of the Legion on these areas."

Thrall: "Drek'Thar told you about this mission?! Perfect! Once more, the Horde owes a great debt to you and your comrades, Master Stormrage! We shall once again fight in arms as honored allies!"

Malfurion: "Yes, young Thrall, and we came here of not only helping you win this war, but to also find and defeat the dreadlord called Mephistroth. He is the vile brother of Anetheron, the dreadlord that we fought before on Hyjal. Mephistroth was responsible for the death of my own brother, and unfortunately, he also killed Altruis on Zangarmarsh, and after that, he had run off and disappeared. I have promised to hunt Mephistroth down, and avenge the deaths of my own brother, and Altruis."

Thrall: "Then, he shall be amongst the foul demons here on Outland that will pay dearly. We shall destroy the demonic armies, then find all their dark leaders and slaughter them as they deserved!"

Malfurion: "Yes. We shall head back to our camp, and aid you as best we can, young Thrall. I shall assemble my warriors, and meet you at the battlefield against the Legion. Good luck on all of you!"

Thrall and Dranosh muster a full army of warriors that consist of grunts, taurens, raiders, shamans, troll berserkers, witch doctors, spirit walkers, wyvern riders, troll bat riders, kodo beast drummers, ogre maulers, and demolishers. Upon assembling their troops, Thrall and Dranosh lead their forces to move out, and hunt down the scattered forces of the demons and fel orcs around the region. The night elven warriors led by Malfurion and Mordent had also move out and join alongside the forces of the Horde in their offensive assault against the enemy settlements. The night elven army consists of archers, huntresses, dryads, druids of the claw, druids of the talon, sentries, maidens of shadows, faerie dragons, hippogryph riders, chimaeras, mountain giants, and glaive throwers. The combined allied armies of the Horde and the night elves move together to battle the vast forces of the Legion.
