WARCRAFT IV -- CHAPTER 2 - United under One Banner (Horde Campaign)

Threat from the Depths

As of that moment, Dranosh Saurfang has become the official chieftain of the Blackrock Clan that are under Thrall's Horde. The young orc blademaster is pleased and honored with his new position. Just as the high leaders of the orcs are celebrating the new leadership of the Blackrock Clan granted to Dranosh, Nazgrel, captain of the security force for Thrall, suddenly arrives and informs them of an ill news. Having returned from his patrol around the outskirts of Orgrimmar, Nazgrel makes his report about sudden recent attacks on various small orcish outposts by the naga from the sea. Upon hearing the report, the orc leaders are angered, and posed immediate action against the naga threat.

Nazgrel: "Warchief, pardon for my interruption, but there is an urgent matter you should know of! We have been attacked by the strange snake creatures from the sea! They have overrun our outlying outposts around the borders! We must take action, and make all those foul serpents pay, warchief!"

Thrall: "Damn those, vile naga! They dare threaten our realm?! They will regret of ever coming to our lands! We shall let those snakes taste the wrath of the Horde by crushing them down to pieces!"

Dranosh: "Warchief! I would like to volunteer to lead our warriors and fight those vile naga! I will bring them to destroy all of those snakes! Let me go and take our revenge for the Horde, warchief!"

Thrall: "Very well, Dranosh. I shall let you handle our counterattack. Let none survive our wrath!"

Dranosh: "Of course, warchief! I will not fail you! I will deal with all those naga as they deserved!"

Varok: "We know you can handle this well, son! Go, and bring honor to our clan and to the Horde!"

Wasting no moment, Dranosh immediately assembles his own troops from the Blackrock warriors in Orgrimmar. Consisting of grunts and troll headhunters, Dranosh and his group head out towards the ruined outposts around the borders of the region. Three small outlying camps upon the outskirts of Orgrimmar had been conquered by the naga invaders. The forces of the Horde aim to reach each of the ruined bases, and destroy the naga forces that have taken over every outpost. Upon marching through the region, Dranosh and his group encountered some various groups of hostile local beasts on various areas such as centaurs, quillboars, murlocs and thunder lizards. Upon fighting their way through the hostile beasts of the Barrens, Dranosh and his warriors had eventually reached the first ruined village that had been taken over by a group of mur'gul reavers and snap dragons. The forces of Horde waste no time, and quickly launch an attack against the naga warriors in the ruined camp.

Dranosh: "Come, my warriors! Let us destroy these pathetic mongrels as they deserved! Lok-tar!"

A fierce battle occurs between the naga, and the warriors of the Blackrock Clan. Dranosh uses his deadly warrior skills as a blademaster in the battle. The naga invaders are tough foes, but they are overpowered by the strength of Dranosh and his troops. After a little while of intense battling, the forces of the Horde have defeated the naga warriors. All of the naga invaders are killed while none have fallen amongst the Horde warriors. Upon successfully defeating the naga warriors in the first ruined orcish outpost, Dranosh and his troops move out towards the second ruined outlying village.

Moving once again through the Barrens, the warriors of the Horde encounter more scattered groups of hostile beasts on various places within the region. A few hours later, Dranosh eventually reached the second ruined orcish outpost that has been overrun by a group of mur'gul reavers, snap dragons, and naga sirens. Seeing the naga warriors once more, Dranosh and his troops ready themselves for another battle. The forces of the Horde charge and clash against the second group of naga invaders.

Dranosh: "More of these vile serpents! Lok-Narash! Slay them all! Victory to the Blackrock Clan!"

Just like with the previous ruined outpost, a battle occurs between the naga and the warriors of the Horde. Once more, Dranosh uses his great abilities as a young strong blademaster against the naga. The naga warriors are once showing a great fight, with the naga sirens casting their powerful spells. However, Dranosh and his troops are still able to overpower the naga invaders. After quite a while of fierce battling, the forces of the Horde eventually defeated the naga in the second ruined outpost. Just as with the first ruined camp, all of the naga invaders were killed whilst only a few number of Horde troops have fallen. Dranosh and his warriors have once again defeated another group of the naga. Wasting no time, the warriors of the Horde move out towards the last ruined outlying outpost.

Moving out yet again through the barren landscape, the forces of the Horde fight their way through few more hostile creatures before eventually reaching the last outlying ruined outpost. Once more, a group of loathsome naga warriors have taken over the ruined with site. The last group of the naga invaders consist of snap dragons, naga sirens, and some mighty naga myrmidons. Upon succeeding defeating the first two naga parties, Dranosh and his warriors are more than eager to eliminate the last group of the naga invaders around the outskirts of Orgrimmar. Wasting no moments, the forces of the Horde launch their fierce attack towards the ruined base, and clash against the naga warriors.

Dranosh: "Not even those big vile serpents will scare us! Come! Let us kill them all for the Horde!"

Myrmidon: "More of those savage green-skinned land-walkers! Quickly now, destroy all of them!"

A battle occurs between the last group of naga invaders, and the forces of the Horde. Just as before, Dranosh utilizes his deadly blademaster skills against his foes. The naga warriors in the third ruined outpost are the strongest group amongst the invading parties with the strong naga myrmidons being able outmatch the strength of the orcish grunts. However, Dranosh and his troops continue to prove their great resilience and savagery in the battle as they are still able to overpower the naga invaders. After quite a while of fierce battling, the forces of the Horde had finally defeated the last group of the naga warriors. Several troops of the Horde fell upon the battle, yet all of the naga invaders have been slain. Having defeated all of the naga invaders upon the outskirts of Orgrimmar, Dranosh has succeeded in his quest of protecting the borders of their homeland. Searching upon the ruins of the small orcish outpost, one of the troll headhunters discovers a nearly dying grunt that is from within the ruined base. Dranosh quickly approaches the dying grunt that is lying only on the ground. Upon seeing Dranosh, the dying grunt tells the blademaster of a crucial information with his last breaths.

Dranosh: "Victory is ours, my warriors! Those vile wretched invaders truly deserved their deaths!"

Headhunter: "Pardon, chief-mon! Look here! There be one warrior here still alive for the moment!"

Dranosh: "What?! There is a survivor here?!"

Grunt (Dying): "Chieftain... Saurfang?"

Dranosh: "Hold on, warrior! I shall call upon a witch doctor to heal you of your grievous wounds!"

Grunt (Dying): "It is... already too late for me, chieftain... there is just little time I have left here... There is something you must know... those snakes... they have taken some of our brethren to their lair... somewhere on the far south of our land... to become prisoners... labor slaves... and sacrifice to some dark rituals... you must hurry to save them, chieftain... before it is too late... you must..."

Dranosh: "Rest easy with honor, warrior. You and your brave fallen comrades deserve your peace. Damn it! Our fight against those naga is not yet over! Their threat does not end here! We must find and destroy the naga lair on the south, and save our captive brethren from the vile clutches of those serpents! Thrall must know all about this, while the rest of us shall head on to the south of Durotar."
