I woke up in a room which I thought was mine, on a second glance I realized I was wrong. I woke up in an unfamiliar room, I could tell this wasn't henrys spare room either; I had no idea where I was.
The door creaked open and yet again I was met with something unfamiliar. A little girl with red hair was starring at me with a confused face, I looked back with a similar expression.
"Are you daddy's friend?" the little girl asked.
"Depends who your daddy is." I replied, still very confused and whose child I was talking too.
"come on, I'll show you." She grabbed my hand almost pulling me out of bed, for a little girl she was quite strong.

I was still in my work uniform; it was now all creased after sleeping in it though. As the young girl dragged me down the stairs towards the kitchen, a faint smell of pancakes was in the air. As I entered the kitchen, I saw the only thing that was familiar to me. William fucking Afton. He was in a Kiss the cook apron; it was splattered with pancake batter and other previous dishes.
"Good morning, Elizabeth." He turned around then stared in almost shock, like he didn't know why I was here.
"Good morning, Y/n" That same unsettling grin arose on his face.
"Why am I here?" I asked William.
"Well last night you got a bit tipsy, and I don't know where you live, and I didn't want to bother Henry, so I brought you back here." He still had that grin and chuckled a bit.
"So...are you daddy's friend?" Elizabeth asked me again.
"Yes they are my friend." William replied.
"I mean, that depends." I joked. He just stared at me with a cold stern look like I did something wrong.

"Well, I should get going...don't want to be late for work you know." I tried to make up an excuse to leave this awkward situation.
"Darling, you remember that I am a boss there, you won't get in trouble, my treat." He winked and flashed a toothy grin at me. He pulled out a chair for me to sit on. Once he finished cooking, he served up the pancakes, Elizabeth went straight in, shoving the pancakes in her face with the fork while William stared at me waiting for me to take my first bite. Did he poison it? No there wasn't any time for him to do that...so why is he just staring at me? I decided to take a bit
"Are they good? I don't usually cook; my wife does but she's out...for a while."
"you have a wife?!" I almost choked on my food when I heard him say that.
He chuckled and grinned at me.
"Yes, yes I do."
"Daddy said she's on a trip right now." Elizabeth butted in.

Just as I was about done eating, I heard someone walking down the stairs.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Michaels distant voice was recognizable enough to figure out who it was almost straight away.
"Michael language!" William snapped and slammed his fist on the table. I jumped a bit at the sudden aggressiveness, I've never seen this side of him before.
"WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSE TO SAY WHEN MY CO-WORKER IS AT MY HOUSE, HAVING BREAKFAST WITH MY DAD, WHO IS ALSO THEIR BOSS!" he was understandably mad, the situation was weird.
"Michael lower your tone, or I'll make you." William said this in such a calmness that it was spine chilling.
"I'm going to school." Michael grabbed his bag and slammed the front door on his way out.
"sorry about him, he's a troublemaker." William said while slowly stabbing his pancakes with his fork repeatedly. The tension in the air was awkward.
Very awkward.
"well I should get going." I stood up from the table, I needed an excuse to leave, especially from William.
"come, come, ill drive you there, its much easier for the both of us." He got up and put the empty dishes into the sink, then we left out the front door on our way to the pizzeria for yet another thrilling day.
