Author's pov

Mikaeel started pushing the washroom door with full force. He was sweating after seeing the red colour water and when he didn't get any response from her after calling numerous times, he started panicking.

Various types of possibilities were coming inside his head and his mind stopped working properly imagining the consequences. He doesn't want to lose his bride on just the third day of his marriage.

" Aurin," he screamed for the last time and finally broke the door.

His eyes widened with pure horror noticing her lying on the floor. Her forehead was bleeding profusely and her clothes were completely wet as the shower knob was on.

Well, Aurin wanted to have a shower after all these mental stresses. She wanted to calm herself down as she was feeling suffocated in the room. Her father's hateful words were haunting her.

She entered the washroom and the moment she turned on the shower knob she started feeling dizzy. Due to lack of appetite, she didn't eat anything the whole day and Mikaeel didn't bother to care about her. As a result, her glucose level decreased to the extent that she fainted. Before falling on the floor she hit her head at the corner of the bathtub and injured her forehead badly.

Rushing towards her, he turned off the shower knob and immediately pressed the towel on her forehead. Gently he picked her up in bridal style and laid her down on the bed.

Without wasting another second he called the family doctor and started changing her clothes. Putting on a comfy maxi dress on her, he dried her wet hair.

The moment he held her hands, he felt like he has held some kind of ice cube. Her whole body has turned pale and her pink lips turned white completely.

" When I said that every woman is nothing but a bunch of problems, I wasn't wrong," Mikaeel thought rubbing her hands constantly to give her some warmth.

Very soon the doctor arrived as well as Mikaeel's family members. Ziya cried for her bhabhi, Jamshed had disappointment written all over his face and Mikaeel's mother Farnaaz was irritated by everything.

" What happened to her?" Mikaeel asked the doctor still holding her hand. He tried to sound normal but he couldn't. He was worried for her.

The doctor answered checking her properly," Seems like she wasn't eating properly. I will suggest you feed her healthy food as she seems underweight too. I am prescribing some vitamins too because she badly needs them."

Finally, the doctor left bandaging Aurin's head and prescribing her medicines. She was still unconscious and lying on the bed like a dead body.

Mikaeel was putting the comforter over Aurin's body when Jamshed ordered him," Come to my room. We need to talk."

The moment Mikaeel entered his parent's room, Jamshed's voice echoed through the whole room like a thunderstorm," What did you do to her?"

" I didn't do anything. She fainted. You heard what the doctor said," Mikaeel reminded his father.

Jamshed inquired like a CBI officer," Yes, I heard. So, first, tell me why her glucose level decreased? Didn't you know that she wasn't eating properly?"

" That's what left for me to do now? She isn't a child that I should know why she didn't eat? She should take care of herself, shouldn't she, Abbu? I never saw you caring about Ammi's health, medication and other necessary things. She took care of herself after taking care of our large family and never complained. As the eldest daughter in law of this house Aurin should follow Ammi's footsteps too," Mikaeel answered bluntly and Jamshed widened his eyes because he was stunned by Mikaeel's words. It was clear that Mikaeel was questioning his father.
